Kaden x Reader

You wake up to something super soft. You were cuddling up against the silkiest thing in the entire hecking world. You nuzzle against it thinking it was a new pillow Jakob had brought for you. Ha ha,. Nope.

Right as you did thst you heard a chuckle causing you to slam bakc your eyelids and meet the earthy brown eyes, fuzzy ears, and wide smile of Kaden. You blush Intensely and let go of his tail immediately and try to pull away, but you discover that his arms were around your waist keeping you in thst cuddling position.

"K-Kaden!"

He chuckled againand muttered something under his breath, it was audible but younkind of wish you didn't hear it but at the same time you fricking loved it.

"Heh, too cute."

You frown and try to get away again, only causing a tighter grip on you fromthe kitsune. You sigh in defeat as he brings you closer to himslemfin thst cuddling position. You take a moment to really see what it was. 

You were sitting in between his legs with them wrapped around your own woht his fluffy fox tail wrapped around thst brought you thst blissful warmth. Hit arms were around your waist and you were facing him with your chest on his. Just like couples do. Your face gets blistering hot as the scarlet overflows in your cheeks going to your ears and then some.

"Kaden, why are you..."

You couldn't finish the scentanc,e it was too awkward and just... hard to explain. He chuckles againand smiles woht thst childish grin of his thst made your heart melt.

"See, Azura said running an army was so stressful you haven to slept well in maybe a few months so she asked me to try and help since she couldn't. I also had to return the favor for all the times you groomed me!"

He said is as though it was the most obvious thing in the world. But he was right. Refusing to pick a side and running an army against both kingdoms while trying to get your siblings, all of them, on your side was tough. You still needed Xander and Ryoma. But you never noticed how badly you needed sleep. You were still super tired... Kaden must have noticed because he pressed you head to his chest again, his tail flicking back and forth to show pleasure.

"Shhh... Sleep."

"But Kaden...."

"Sleep (Your name). For the greater good."

You sigh, this actuallly getting to you and you close your eyes. It felt a little chilly under thst singular tree in the empty field of the Astral Plane so you unconsciously snuggled into Kaden for warmth, completely forgetting he was there.

Kaden looked down at you and couldn't help but chuckle againand nd stroke you're hair back. You were just too cute. The truth was, Kaden found you asleep on the ground somewhere near the lottery shop, somhe took you here and snuggled with you like a prize. You were jsut so adoreable And he loved you so much, but you were too busy to notice. 

Whelp, you were his right now. 

If only you bith couldn't stay like this forever.
