Modern AU

You leaned into his chest and sigh as the colors filled your eyes once again. Ever since he stole a kiss from your lips as a joke thst day you never separated. Henry was the hint To your yang, the wind at your back, and the sword at your side. He was your soulmate.

Sure, you thought he was weird, ebign obsessed with blood and all,  ur he was really a sweet and funny guy you grew to love. Even though he can get a bit...crazy at times.

His arms wrapped around you protectively and you snuggled deeper into your lover for life's chest. You actually wondered for a moment at how he could even see the colors with those Brock eyes of his. Occasionally you would joke with him if he needed his trusty drying pan or if he wanted any jelly doughnuts. Man, you were a geek.

Henery smiled down at you Andy placed a comforting kisss on top of your head as your eyelids dropped a little. You wanted to sleep but you didn't want to miss out on the spectrum that is the world.

Henry stroked your hair and you sighed into his chest, Turing around and using him as one big, life sized pillow. Not a body pillow though, thst would be weird. But you did know he had a body pillow of you for when you couldn't s pend this He next isn't in his apartment and you're a since mom decided to care about you.

"Enjoying the color collecting, love? Nyah ha~"

He softened his signature laugh to match the mood. Color collecting was the process of touching for a long period of time with a great amount of physical contact to just take in the colors to prevent you from going insane due to color madness. Color madness hasn't horrible symptoms and often leads to suicide.

"Anything I do with you is a blast, Henry."

You stork his cheek affectionately without actually being able to see him and you close your eyes. He notices and chuckles.

"You'll miss out on the pretty colors of the world of you fall asleep now!"

"Henry... remember the kiss thst let us see these things?"

He would've blinked at you if his eyes weren't always closed. 

"Yeah. I saw blood on your lips and we were close friends so I thought you wouldn't mind. I wanted to know what blood tasted like so I went for a kiss. You hadn't your tooth pulled out by a bully, right? Apparently we were soulmates and that's one kiss was destiny. Some fate. Nyah ha~"

You smile, him remembering perfectly. You steal a soft kiss on his lips, makign the colors more vibrant when your lips met. You pulled away with a sigh, him smiling like a goof ball.

"I love you, Henry."

"I love you too. My sweet, submissive subject~"

You forgot all about the reference as he stroked your head and you fell asleep. He may or may not have kissed you all over your neckline and above in your slumbers. The World May never know.
