Henry x Reader

Another request for StormRaider101! Sorry for makign another depressing Henry one. If I do him again I promise to make it happy! Nyah ha!

"Nyah ha! Look at all the blood!"

You could hear your partner for this battle, Henry, gawking at the corpses of the Valmese soldiers attempting to raid your beloved haildom. Well, it wasn't yours but it was your homemade you have sworn to protect on the honor of your deceased father and mother. They both were Yilsean warriors who perished when you were a mere babe.

"Henry, a little help please?"

Three axemen were chargeing st you and your sword could only do so much. The white haired man never lost his smile or amused expression in his unopened eyes as he came to Your aid, wrapping a darker magic around one of them lifting them into the air to their bloody demise of having their lives sucked right out of them.

That left the other two to you, and it made it much easier. You ducked and thirsted into one man as you punt trip the other by his name ankles. Once you tug your sword out of one corpse you immediately jab it into the other axemen, causing a painful scream as he loses his life. You Stan up and move your hair behind you as Henry releases the last axemen fodm the sky. But a shadow catches your eye behind the mage.

"Henry! Look out!"

An assassin jumped out from the shadows and was about to impale the plegian dale mage formmbehind But you jumper don the way, attempting to block. Your sword was off and the blade penetrated through your back from the front side in between your breastplate. YOu drop to the ground, blood spilling out of you like a tap bottle of rum. You see the man encased in black magic quickly and vengefully as he then falls down again. Salty tears spill on the wound and the sword was still in your body. It was the only thing preventing death due to blood loss so you ahd to keep it in for now.

This was the end of you, or so you thought. No matter how bad the pain was surging through your senses, you couldn't scream or pass out. You see Henry come around woth a worried look on his face. An actual frown. You thought you wouldn't never leave to see the day his eyes opened. 

"Come on, (Your name), stay with me!"

You couldn't help but smile and mimick his normal behavior. Even though this was the first tie  you saw him saddened, you couldn't stand it. 

"Don't worry! Isn't the blood pretty though? Nyah ha!"

You tried your best to use his voice but he just shook his head, the dew of tears flinging with his head.

"No! No it isn't!"

"But I thought you liked blood."

"Not on the ones I love!"

You recoil a bit, causing the sword to go deeper into your chest and you wince in pain. Henry puts his arms on your shoulders to keep you from going anywhere.

"Don't move, it will only hurt you! That attack was meant for me! Why did you take it?"

You were still processing his words of 'the ones I love'. Did that mean he loved you back? You ahd a crush on him since he joined the army, himself laugh and playful smile always cheering you up. So did that mena he loved you.

"LISSA!? MARIBELLE!? LIBRA!?"

Henry was calling for healers to try and assist you but you were fine, despite the pain. Henry was there, right? The pain was horrible and blood seeped apeund the sword. But the others were scattered all along the battlefield fighting the Valmese. YOu just happened my To get rid  the last three in your area when you were injured.

You shakily lifted a hand to caress his cheek. Oh the pain was unbearable, you had a sword in your fricking chest! But you had to calm Henry down, he mattered to you more than your own health. You wiped something tears with his thumb.

"Don't worry, I'll live. Nyah ha!"

You imitated him again, and you did it right because he had a shaky smile through his tears.

"Yeah, you will (Your name), I swear it."

Without warning he picked you up bridal style, careful not to disturb the blade and give you even more pain. It barely missed your heart and a lot of other organs, so if it was moved to the light even by a smidge, you're heart would have a cut in it and instant death for you. The pain was horrible, but barwanle for Henry. 

You blacked out in the safety of his arms with a smile on your face.
