You hadn't received it recently, this was back when yphe was stuck in his deeprelm and just after you discovered a bridge between your deeprelm and his. You began to hang out with the formal boy a lot. But youncoidlnt see him as often as you wished and his father actually Came back for him while yours abandoned you.
Ah screw it, you only live once. You escaped from the deeprelm and found a carrier bird, seemingly wild or lost. You wrote a quick note. You were way less formal than Hisame, so it would just be a casual note. Would he even remembered you? I mean, you both were so fond of eachother you jokingly flirted and wrote snazzy letters liek the one you always had all the time. It was fun.

We have been way too out of touch. Things have been crazy and it sucks thst we don't talk so much. But i should tell you thst I thought of you each night.

The bird chirped in recognition, probally knew a friend of his. You tied the nite to hsi talon using your string you kept in your hair and it flew off south. You decide to follwomon that direction, praying you would see your childhood crush again.
