Fear has no hold on Bellamy as his feet take him where he needs to be. Silence screams in the air, rushing forward with every step he takes. Roan is calm, knowing no matter the predicament you're in, he's going to rescue you. He has no doubt in his mind that he will stop at nothing until his little sister is safe. Upon hearing that you were captured by Trikru, the boys left their mission to transport the hydrazine. Instead, they had left it for someone else. They had to find you.

Bellamy could hear his own shallow breath as if it were the loudest thing in the world. The trees watched the pair as they made their quiet way to where the ever-moving Trikru camp was currently residing. Without doubt, they would move on soon. So they had to get you out and they had to do it fast.

The tan boy leads the way through the thick quietness. It's dark now. It's empty. The only light was from the eyes of the full moon staring down at the scene unfolding below it. "Where could she be?" Bellamy wondered out loud, his voice as soft as a drop of water.

Without a sound, Roan nods to the nearby cave. Bellamy hadn't noticed it, his mind was too focused on rescuing you that he wasn't even doing it properly. He was too eager. The two men followed the dim, yellow glow emitting from the deep walls of the cave. Tension grew. They knew that once they were inside, they needed to be quick or getting out would be even more difficult. Step by step, they readied their weapons. Bellamy with a sleek gun in his steady, military hand and Roan with a makeshift spear - it would do the job.

Though you felt exhaustion attacking you, you refuse to close your eyes. You don't let your head rest against your shoulder despite your sitting position, your ankle tied to a boulder with thick rope. You stare at the wall of the cave, watching as the yellow flame casts light against it. Your mind came up with ways to escape, but it's no use. You're too far away to be able to burn the rope that keeps you in place and even if you did, it would burn you too.

"Over here." You snap your head to the entrance. A voice? It echoes it's way through the cave and you wonder if you're dreaming. "She's in here! Keep watch." Though the voice whispers, it's filled with excitement. And your hopes rise. "Y/N!"

You watch with wide eyes as he steps into the light. "Bellamy!" You whisper back, tears finding your eyes. He rushes up to you and you both meet there, in the middle of the cave, both kneeling closely. "You're here." A breath of relief escapes your lips as he holds your face in his hands.

"Of course." He smiles, letting you go and reaching for the army knife in his pocket. "So is your brother." He begins hacking away at the rope.

Urgency replaces hope very quickly. "Hurry." They're gone now. But they are going to be back soon, you could feel it - the oncoming sense of danger, like something is about to go wrong. Quickly, he puts the knife away and lifts you to your feet. "Bell," you stop him, getting a look at him as the light frames a circle around his head.

You want to say thank you but the words don't fall from their mouth as simply as you had hoped. But he understands. He feels all the time in the world standing there, facing doom with you. So with his arm wrapped around your waist, he feels his heartbeat taking over the silence.

First, his nose brushes against yours and you have to swallow the lump in your throat. He begins to lean in, wanting nothing more than to have your lips on his at this very moment. Second, when you place a hand on his chest, he knows you want this too. And his closes his eyes to press his cold lips on your warm ones. Lastly, when he realises that you're both kissing and it's real and actual happening, his grip on your waist tightens. Your eyes are shut but you see stars - maybe even the whole universe and you feel free.
