Take The Blame...

Bellamy was just about to go to shower when he heard a knock on his door. With a groan he walked over to the door mentally cursing whoever was on the other side, he couldn't even take a shower without being interrupted. As he opened it his eyes fell on Octavia standing there with rather frantic look on her face.

"What is it, O?" He asked her impatiently getting worried just by looking at her uneasiness.

"Have you seen Y/N?" She questioned him urgently, breathing heavily as she was probably in hurry.

"Not since morning. She has gone on hunt with boys to get some herbs," he furrowed his eyebrows not understanding why she would ask that, "Why? What's going on?"

"The guards are looking for her," hearing the words Bellamy felt his stomach drop.

"Why the hell would they look for her?" He clenched his jaw already feeling the urge to protect his girlfriend kicking in.

"I don't know, but it looks like they think she broke some law," she looked down hating to make her brother worried.

After a moment of processing the information he decided to take the action and grabbed his jacket storming off not even bothering to wait for Octavia to catch up with him as he furiously looked for Kane. When he spotted him near the fence he walked up to him not even bothering to wait for him to finish the conversation with some guard.

"What the hell, Kane?! What do you want with Y/N?" Bellamy snapped at him, anger filling his lungs. He wouldn't let anyone hurt her.

"Calm down, Bellamy," Kane placed his hand on Bellamy's shoulder trying to calm the younger man, but Bellamy shrugged his hand off.

"Calm down? I found out you are looking for my girlfriend because she supposedly broke some law, which I am sure didn't happen, and you are telling to calm down?" Everyone around them stopped working and now was watching them but Bellamy didn't care. He was furious because he knew that Y/N would never do anything forbidden.

"Believe me, I am not enjoying this either but she broke the law and she's been sentenced to 50 shock lashes," Kane tried to give him sympathetic look, but that drove Bellamy even more insane.

"Are you kidding me?" He laughed bitterly not knowing what else he should do, he didn't even know what law she had broken, "What has she even done?"

"She gave morphine to the patient without permission," Bellamy's eyes widened in realisation as he remembered her giving it to one ill man yesterday when he had been waiting for her at med bay.

"Since when she needs permission for that?" Bellamy wasn't aware of that law knowing that until now it was up to the doctors how much of that medicine the patients would receive.

"Since when we are running low on supplies," Abby came up to them standing next to Kane wearing the same sympathetic look. Bellamy knew he had to do something about it because he was pretty sure she wouldn't survive the punishment. So once the idea popped in his mind he immediately went with it.

"I did it," Bellamy suddenly stated firmly confusing Kane, Abby and Octavia, who was standing besides him, as well.

"What?"

"I gave the man that morphine," Bellamy explained trying to sound convincing. If they needed to punish someone, they had to be satisfied with him.

"Bellamy, I know you want to protect her, but...," Kane started but Bellamy cut him off.

"I couldn't watch him in pain anymore as I waited for Y/N at medical so I just gave it to him," he made up some descent lie hoping it would be enough for them to accept that he was the guilty one.
