I took a deep breath as I had parked my car into a parking spot for actors. Today one of my biggest dreams was going to become a reality.
Even though I would always be mainly a singer I had always wanted to try acting. So once I had gotten an opportunity to be casted in my favorite tv show, The 100, I had immediately agreed without hesitation. I had been more than eager to become a part of such amazing show and the fact that I would be able to work with my good friend Lindsey was just a bonus.
I had gotten some really small roles before in different movies, but this was different. This role was more serious and the showrunners had told me that they were pretty positive about my character eventually getting even more screen time. It would all depend on me and how the audience would take it.
All of that made me unbelievably excited, but there was something that made me feel a little uneasy. It was the fact that I was supposed to work with Bob Morley.
Not that I had anything against him, in fact I hadn't even known him properly, but the one and only encounter had been enough for me.Flashback
I felt a little out of place as I was surrounded by people I had never met before. I had been a little reluctant about coming there, but I decided to give it a shot since it was Lindsey's birthday party. She had asked me to come and also to sing a few of my songs which I had already done and now I had no idea what to do. Even though I had been a famous singer I still wasn't completely comfortable with crowds of strangers and I still couldn't make new friends so easily as it could seem.
"Y/N," I heard Lindsey's voice from behind me and I turned around to be greeted with her lit up face, "You were amazing."
"As always right?" I joked sipping from my drink.
"I am so happy you came. We haven't seen each other in ages," she waved her hands nearly spilling little bit of her drink on her dress.
"I know," I nodded remembering how much I missed her and all our talks.
"We need to catch up," she grabbed my hand and pulled me to a bar sitting on one of the stools and I sat on another.
We had been talking and laughing for a long time drinking in between and I had already started feeling a little dizzy. Lindsey insisted on introducing me to all of her friends supported by the alcohol I agreed and eventually I met nearly all of the cast of The 100, which turned out to be great decision because I had a lot of fun.
Currently I was dancing in the middle of dance floor laughing at some lame joke Lindsey had just said. I had a little problem with coordinating my movements as I was a little drunk, which I wasn't used to.
"Bob!" Lindsey suddenly shouted looking behind me and I turned around just to see Bob Morley looking our way, "Come here!"
"Sorry I am late," he said breathing a little heavier as if he had been running and then hugged Lindsey, "Happy birthday, Lindsey."
"That's fine and thanks," she chuckled breaking the hug to look at me, "Bob, let me introduce you to my beautiful friend over here, Y/N."
"You are really beautiful," he smirked observing me from head to toes.
"Thanks," I blushed smiling, "It's nice to meet you as well."
"Lindsey!" Someone yelled from where the tables, "Get your ass over here!"
"Sorry, guys," she shot me apologetic look, "I gotta leave you."
"So," Bob turned to once she was out of sight, "wanna drink?"
