As I was leaving the dropship, I saw another girl exiting Bellamy's tent. It should had probably made me feel sad, but I had gotten used to it.
Despite my feelings for him, I was happy with the state of our relationship. We were friends, he trusted me with the things he wouldn't trust most of the people here.
I decided it was enough for me. For me, it meant more than being just his one night stand, what I would have been if I had tried to make our relationship something more. It was the way he lived and I knew he wouldn't change for someone like me.
"Hey there, daydreamer," I was pulled back from my thoughts by someone's voice, which I quickly realized was Clarke's.
"Hey there, doc," I turned my head to the side, where she was standing beside me and smiled at her.
"So, what was it this time?" She asked referring to my zoning out.
"We both know what," I replied with my smile fading away. She knew about my feelings, but promised me to keep it for herself.
"You know my opinion on that," she started.
She had been persuading me to tell him about it, because she had thought that he would feel the same and I would get my happy ending. But I had always dismissed her, because I knew how stupid idea it was.
"And you know my opinion on your opinion," I quickly turned away from his tent once I saw him leaving and hoped he hadn't caught me looking that way. I was facing Clarke now and I decided to change the subject, "anyways, do you need anything from me?"
"Actually yes, I was thinking if you could go and collect me some of these herbs," she waved with two different leaves in front of my face, " this is the last one I have."
"Yeah, sure," I shrugged. I was the only one besides her who knew at least something about the herbs.
"Be careful," she hugged me and walked off to the dropship.
I went to my tent to grab my backpack. The place where the herbs grew wasn't so far away, so I hadn't planned on taking much stuff.
I glanced at the rifle lying on the table. I was contemplating if I should take it with me or not. I decided it wouldn't be necessary since I wouldn't be there long.
Also, I had never been much familiar with the guns even though I knew how to shoot, because Bellamy had insisted on teaching me so I wouldn't be defenseless against the grounders.
Firstly I hadn't been really convinced, but he had been too adamant. I had no idea why he had been like that. Maybe he feels the same.
I shook my head clearing it from all those thoughts. I rather grabbed few daggers, that I had much better relationship with.
I exited the tent and headed towards the dropship, behind which there was a hole in our wall. I had been using it for my sneaking, because I wouldn't risk getting caught by Bellamy while using the main gate.
I looked around if someone wouldn't see me disappearing just to find out no one had been paying any attention to me.
Unfortunately, once I was about to climb trough the hole I heard someone cough. I reculantly turned back facing Bellamy. He was standing there with folded arms glaring at me.
"Hi," I marveled a smile knowing there was no escape for me.
"What the hell are you doing?" He barked at me.
"Uhm... I found a hole," I pointed to said hole hoping he would believe me.
"Truth," he looked impatient and I sighed deciding to tell him.
