Being on the Earth, walking on the ground, seeing the sun rising every morning, it felt odd and amazing at the same time. Even though I had had pretty good life back on the Ark, being here it finally felt right, I felt free.
However, I had still felt insecure, even though I knew that aside from the grounders it was relatively safe. I couldn't even imagine, how hard it must have been for the delinquents, that had been sent down, to think they would most likely die.
I had come down with the rest of the Ark just to find out that nearly all of the survivors from the 100 had been gone. Ironically, one of the few delinquents, that had been found, was Bellamy Blake.
Some of the people saw his as a hero now, but I couldn't think of him that way. For me, he was just a person I hadn't seen for more than one year, our last encounter ending with him breaking up with me, after I had caught him cheating.
Flashback
I made my way through the corridors excited to see Bellamy. He wanted me to come to his place after my shift would be over.
I had been to his place a lot of times, but we had never spent much time there, because we had been used to spend time together at my place since I had been living alone since my parents' death. So I had a feeling that he wanted to tell me something important or so.
However, my shift ended a hour earlier today so I decided to surprise him with showing up sooner than he would expect. I was surprised to find out that he let the doors unlocked.
As I entered his flat I froze in my tracks as I heard a girl chuckle from the other room. As I got closer to the doors I recognized Bellamy's voice as well.
I had no idea what I should do so I just stood there listening.
"How do I look?" The girl asked.
"Beautiful as always. Come here so I can have better look," I felt anxiety coming at me at the thought of what was going on.
"I want to go out with you, Bell," the girl pouted.
"You know I love you and would do anything for you, but we can't. But I promise you I'll come up with something," I couldn't believe it.
I would have never thought that he would be capable of cheating on me. I ran away from there after that, not really planning on returning there anytime soon, so I let him know that I had to take care of my ill grandma.
On the third day, I had collected all of my strength and made decision to face him. I decided that I would firstly let him defend himself if he would want to and if he wanted I would give him even another chance, because I loved him too much to make clever decisions.
I hoped he would be sorry, I hoped that maybe it had been just some misunderstanding.
Standing in front of his place again I took a deep breath and knocked. He opened quickly and without saying a word he let me in. I stepped in and decided to spill it out immediately.
"I know you've cheated on me. I heard you the day, you wanted me to come over here, with some girl in that room," I motioned to that room. He seemed to be shocked and stayed silent.
"Good," that was the only thing he said after moments of silence.
"What!?" I raised my voice at him.
"You've been boring me for some time now and I was just waiting for the right time to break up with you and I planned on doing it that day, but I guess I can do it now. It was fun for a while, but I feel there's nothing between us anymore, not that I have ever had any real feelings for you. It's not worth wasting time," he was speaking without any emotion in his voice.
