You couldn't help but feel scared as you tried to figure out what was going on. You had been resting in your cell, when suddenly some guards burst in, dragged you out, and you had been forced to put some sort of weird bracelet around your wrist. You tried to ask the guards what was happening but they wouldn't answer you. You were now standing in a long line, with a bunch of other prisoners, some of them younger than you, but most of them about your age. You stood on your tip-toes and craned your neck, trying to see where the line was headed. Many of the other people around you looked scared and confused, clearly no one else knew what was happening either. There were guards watching all the prisoners, making sure no one tries to escape. You knew a few guards so you looked around trying to find someone you knew, but you didn't recognize anyone. As the line slowly moved forward, you noticed that everyone was being led into a dropship. 'Where could this dropship possibly be going?' You wondered to yourself, as you looked around, trying to get answers. Just before you reached the dropship, you heard a loud bang, a gunshot. You heard shouting and screams, as you desperately looked around trying to find the source of the noise. All you could see around you was terrified kids. Then you were shoved into the dropship.
As you searched the dropship for a seat, you heard someone saying that you were going to be sent to Earth. This just made you more scared and confused. They couldn't send you to Earth. Everyone on the Ark knew that the Earth wasn't survivable it hadn't been for generations. How could they do this? Why would they do this? As all these thoughts crossed your mind, the thoughts that occupied your mind the most were the ones of him. Bellamy Blake.
"Bellamy?" You called over the crows surrounding the door to the dropship. You were shocked to see Bellamy. You had no idea how or why he would be here, you thought it was only prisoners being sent to Earth.
"Y/N?" Bellamy just stood staring at you, looking confused and just as surprised to see you as you were to see him. The moment was interrupted when you heard another voice calling Bellamy's name. You recognized the voice, it was Octavia. That's when everything made sense, Bellamy must have come to Earth to be with Octavia.
"Hey" You nervously smiled, walking towards Bellamy. The doors to the dropship had been opened, and to everyone's surprise, so far Earth was survivable.
"Hey" Bellamy answered, avoiding looking you in the eye.
"I'm really sorry Bellamy" You sighed sadly.
"Too late now" Bellamy answered, fiddling with boxes of supplies so he could avoid looking at you.
"I never meant to hurt you" You tried to explain. You really were sorry for what happened with you and Bellamy.
"Well you did" Bellamy sighed, finally looking you in the eye.
"Please let me explain" You pleaded.
"I don't want to hear it" Bellamy answered coldly. You hadn't realized how much you missed him until you saw him standing in the doorway of the dropship. You at least wanted him to understand why you did what you did. "I didn't even know you had been arrested" Bellamy stated.
"When I found out I was going to be arrested, I decided it was best for both of us if I just ended it. I couldn't bring myself to tell you the truth. I really am sorry Bellamy. I didn't want things to turn out the way they did" You explained sadly.
"Why didn't you just tell me. I would have waited for you" Bellamy started.
"I know you would have, but I didn't want you to wait for me. I know they used to drop most charges when the prisoners turned 18 but lately they have been floating everyone, even for minor crimes. I thought if I just ended it then it would be easier for both of us. You would have been hurt a lot more if I had been floated" You interrupted Bellamy so you could continue to explain.
"That wasn't your choice to make. We could have found a way."
"I wish we could have" You sighed sadly.
You felt like your heart was breaking all over again when Bellamy turned around and walked away from you without saying another word. Over the next few days, you couldn't stop thinking about him. You missed him so much. Every time you saw him around camp, you had the urge to walk over to him, to try and find some way to make things go back to how they used to be. You couldn't stop yourself from wondering how things might be if you hadn't ended things with Bellamy. You decided that you were going to try and fix things with Bellamy, maybe this could be your second chance.
Every time you tried to talk to Bellamy, he would either walk away or just not answer you. Occasionally he would talk to you about things related to the group or the camp, but even then, it was only if there were other people around. He refused to talk to you alone, or about anything not related to the camp. It was starting to frustrate you. You know that you had hurt him but couldn't he at least give you another chance to explain or to make it up to him.
It made it worse that you didn't have any friends in the camp. None of your friends from the Ark had been sent to Earth, and you were never very good at making new friends. You spent most of your days walking around camp alone, or trying to help by building or rationing food. People were friendly towards you but you wouldn't exactly call them friends.
"Bellamy can we please talk" You asked, standing in the opening of his tent.
"What do you want" Bellamy sighed, sitting up on his makeshift bed.
"Bellamy I miss you. And I know that I screwed things up with us but I'm really sorry. I never wanted to hurt you, I was trying to do what I thought was best at the time and I know that it was a mistake now. But I would do anything to try and fix things with us, to try and make them go back to how they used to be. I would do anything to stop you from hating me so please just tell me what I can do to fix this. I love you Bellamy, I still love you" You blurted out, saying it quicker and louder than you had meant to.
"I don't hate you" Bellamy said quietly from his bed.
"What" You asked, confused.
"I tried to hate you, to be angry at you but the truth is I couldn't because I miss you too. And as much as I have tried not to, I still love you too" Bellamy replied quietly. You just stared at him in shock, you didn't think that he still felt so strongly for you. "But I don't think things can go back to the way they used to be, you really hurt me."
"I know but please tell me how I can fix this" You pleaded, hoping with all your heart that one day Bellamy would be able to forgive you.
"We can't go back, but maybe this time it will be something better" Bellamy smiled, slowly standing up from his bed. "But we are going to need to take it slowly this time. I'm still not sure if I trust you, and you have to promise you won't hurt me again."
"Of course, I promise Bellamy" You smiled, your heart beating out of your chest as you watched the guy you were in love with slowly walk towards you. When he finally reached you, he placed his hands on your cheeks and slowly leant down to kiss you. The kiss was perfect; it was slow and soft and Bellamy pulled away after only a couple of seconds.
"I love you Y/N" Bellamy whispered, after he had pulled away from the kiss, your face was still in his hands.
"I love you too Bell" You smiled, looking back up at him.
You knew it was going to be hard to gain Bellamy's trust back, he didn't trust people easily, but you also knew that it was totally worth it.
