Raven was unconscious, or at least that's what Clarke assumed. After the constant tugging, pulling and screaming, she stopped resisting the ropes that kept her attatched to the bed frame. Next thing they knew, her eyes were closed and her head hung low.
After checking to make sure she was still breathing, Clarke decided that they needed a watch schedule, considering none of them knew how unpredictable Raven was going to be with the chip, now in her system.
"I'll watch her first," she volunteer, lifting her index finger in the air. Clarke and Bellamy stared at her, both shocked at her enthusiasm. "What?" Y/n questions, confronting their surprised expressions. "Guys, she's my best friend. If anyone knows how to put up with her, it's me."
Clarke seemed satisfied with her reasoning, but Bellamy remained unsettled. With one last glance, Clarke left the room, leaving her with one last person to convince.
"Bellamy," she says, softly, touching his forearm and looking him intently in the eyes. "Trust me, okay? I'm gonna be fine. You and Clarke need the rest, anyways."
His expression softened and he nodded, before taking his jacket off and placing it over her shoulders. She smiled thankfully at this gesture, having been inches away from hypothermia.
"Call me if you need anything, okay?"
She nods, cueing for him to leave, which he does reluctantly, offering one more glance before shutting the door behind him. She take slow steps to the seat beside the bed Raven rested on, and plants herself there loudly.
"You can stop pretending, Raven," she whispers, staring at the corrupted body of her best friend. "You knew that I could tell you were conscious. Fingers crossed? Really?"
Her eyes shot open, and she smiled and uncomfortable smile as she lifted her head to face Y/n. The dark circles beneath her eyes and and the red surrounding her, once soulful, brown irises made her practically unrecognisable.
"What do want Alie?" Y/n spits, trying to uphold her stone cold exterior, but knowing that once she speaks, once Y/n hear Raven's voice, she would loose sight of staying strong and do everything she could to get my best friend back.
"No, Y/n, it's me. It's Raven."
There it was. The voice so softly spoken, yet so strongly composed, speaking to her with an uncomfortable amount of sincerity. Sincerity Y/n knows is not pure, but still has her melting in its prescence.
"Look, I'm not gonna hurt you. You're my best friend, I trust and love you more than anything. Don't you care about me?"
Y/n knew what Alie was making her doing. Naming off all the different angles Raven needed to approach me at, in order to try and get information from her. She remains seated and continues to stare at Raven, unfazed and unmoved.
"Y/n, if you cared at all about me, you would help me get out of here. The longer I stay tied up, the more I'm willing to injure myself in order to escape. Don't you care about me?"
The guilt was beginning to eat at her, but she knew that Alie wasn't going to let Raven spend to much time working from this angle. And if Y/n knew anything about Alie, she know this isn't the only angle.
"You wanna act like a bitch? Fine."
She takes a moment to look around the room, a wicked grin creeping its way to the corners of her mouth.
