Reader POV:
Murphy. Always Murphy. You knew he was bad news and now he was commanding Bellamy inside, for him to do god knows what. With wide eyes I watched as Bellamy walked into the Dropship, disappearing through the sheet covering the opening. When he couldn't be seen Jasper was thrown out and the door drew up, slowly, tauntingly as Bellamy was left with Murphy's psycho thoughts. I was jittering, Murphy was going to kill him.
Raven beckoned me from the side of the ship, Jasper by her side.
"We're going to go get him. Murphy won't kill him. We'll be there." Raven reassured rubbing my arm before I nodded, unbelievingly and crawled under the Dropship floor.
____
Bellamy POV:
The radio crackled as Octavia's voice flitted through, worried and shaky.
"Bellamy? Bellamy! Are you ok?" Murphy smirked from across the room watching pleased as I looked at him. Begging.
"You want her to know you're alive? Start tying." He gestured to the rope in front of me as he clicked the radio button, my hands working fast with my words chasing their pace.
"I'm fine. Just a misfire. Now stop worrying about me and get back to work, all of you. And tell Raven to hurry her ass up. " I murmured, my heart beating as I thought of Y/N. She was probably helping Raven and was underneath us right now, I gulped at the thought.
"Alright that's enough." Murphy sneered. I felt the rage coil in my stomach as I glared up at him as I finished tying the noose. My death in an object.
"Now get up and toss it over." He instructed. I watched as not a flicker of anything passed his features. He was emotionless as I threw the rope over the railing. I watched it swing like a clock, counting down till my breathing would stop. I looked at him with teary eyes.
"What do you want me to say? You want me to apologize? I'm... I'm sorry." I stuttered, the images of the boy's body dangling flashing in my memory. He snickered, if that's what you could call it.
"You got it all wrong, Bellamy. I don't want you to say anything. I want you to feel what I felt, and then then I want you to die."
____
Reader POV:
"Put it over your head." I heard Murphy command. I knew it was a noose, I took a shaky breath trying not to pay attention to my boyfriend's shaky voice, he was trying to be brave. I felt the tears threatening to spill from my eyes.
"We need to do this now." Jasper whispered frantically, looking up from below the floor. Raven just gestured wildly with her hands.
"I'm working as fast as I can. The wires for the door are mixed in with the ignition system. Sparking the wrong one would be bad." She explained, her hands slightly shaking before I placed a reassuring palm on her shoulder nodding swiftly when she looked at you.
"Put it over your head." I shivered and winced as I heard Bellamy grunt.
"Happy now?" He snakily replied.
"Hold on babe. I'm coming." I whispered, praying from Raven's side.
"You're so brave, aren't you? I mean, you came in here thinking you're just gonna turn this whole thing around, that you were stronger than me, and maybe one of your friends would come and help you. Your girlfriend, maybe? Well, what are you thinking now, Bellamy? Hmm?" I felt my fists ball and took deep calming breaths.
"Come on Raven." I quietly urged.
"You know, I got to hand it to you, Bellamy. You got 'em all fooled. They actually look up to you, almost as much as they look up to Clarke. Yeah, well, we know the truth, don't we? You're a coward. I learned that the day you kicked out the crate from beneath me." I felt my heart pang at the memory. No one deserved what Murphy was given. And now unfair karma was coming back in full force. Raven's voice drew me back to the scene as her excited whispered soared my hopes.
"I think I found it. Get outside. Be ready when it opens." She whispered to Jasper as I stayed by her side.
"Isn't that what you said? That you were just giving the people what they wanted, right?" Murphy continued
"I should have stopped them." Bellamy gruffed apologetically, my breath catching in my throat.
"Yeah, it's a little late for that now."
"You think they're just gonna let you walk out of here?" Bellamy hissed, struggling slightly.
"Well, I think the princess is dead but I know the king's about to die, so who's really gonna lead these people, huh? Me, that's who, and, yeah, maybe I'll have to kill your grounder-pounding little sister"
"There's still the queen." Bellamy growled. I felt myself smile softly despite the rope threatening his life. Suddenly Raven did something. You had no idea what but you both shrieked.
"I'm guessing that's her right now." I could practically hear his smirk as I heard multiple gunshots, Bellamy shouting and pain rippling through my side.
____
Bellamy's POV:
"No!" My voice ripped from my throat as Murphy shot below the Dropship floor. I knew that shriek. Y/N. It had to be. Murphy's gun clicked empty and I took my chance, kicking violently. He fought back and held my hands painfully tight.
"Using your hands is a cheat. Mine were bound, remember?" I felt my consciousness sway before the loud creak of the Dropship door caused Murphy to retreat to the top level.
Suddenly Jasper was holding me up, loosening the rope around my neck and Octavia unclipped the clasp as I took a large gulp of breath. Octavia and Jasper by my side.
"Bell, breathe! Breathe!" Her voice calming but not enough. I stood and shouted angrily, my voice hoarse with the lack of air. I walked over to the ladder and climbed, my rage fuelling the movement of my limbs.
"Murphy! Murphy! It's over! Murphy! There's only one way out of this for you now!" But as I busted the hatch above Murphy was gone. Blown a hole in the side of the wall.
Octavia's voice below drew me from my rage immediately.
"Bellamy! Y/N's been hit!" And without a second glance back at the murderer that escaped I had bolted down the ladder to gather my girl into my arms.
____
Reader POV:
I could faintly feel the security of Bellamy's arms around me as blood stained my shirt. All the voices were fuzzy.
"Y/N. You could've been killed! That was so stupid! You could've died for me." I heard his voice. Only his. Clear as the clearest day. It was pained and to prove it a tear hit my face.
"She'll be okay." Octavia, I thought, reassured.
"I'm not leaving your side. Not until you're better." He promised, holding me closer.
