You heard a bunch of commotion, and despite everything Abby had said about you still needing rest, you got up to make your way outside. Camp Jaha didn't normally get this roady, and not to mention you were tired of laying in bed because of your injury.
Holding your wounded stomach, you pushed through the crowd of people, trying to be careful of those around you. You felt your knees wobble, your body still not completely strong enough to be walking around. But it was almost like you felt compelled, like someone was pulling you out in the direction of the gates.
Though, when you saw him, it almost felt as if everything slowed down. Bellamy Blake. The boy you hadn't seen since before the fight with the grounders, you'd thought he was dead... When Clarke had shut the drop-ship doors, with tears in her eyes and she set off the bomb, you'd thought Bellamy had died. Yet, here he was.
Clarke was in front of him, Octavia beside him; none of them had noticed your presence. Though that was obvious since you were still hidden within the crowd. You felt an arm grab your shoulder, gently pulling your attention behind you where you found Abby; her face flushed as if she'd been running. "You need-" You brushed her off, waving your hand.
Pushing through the crowd, you stepped in front of everyone else; "Bellamy?"
His eyes fell on you the second he heard his name called. The smile that was on his lips slowly fell as shock filled his sister. Bellamy blinked; as if you weren't really there and he was only imagining it. You'd never seen Bellamy look so... soft.
This was the same Bellamy you'd professed your dying hatred to and the same Bellamy who never once in camp did you get along with. But there was always more to it, and the fighting and arguing was more of a way to cope with your feelings towards the attractive male and his need... to sleep around with girls.
You fought with Bellamy because it was the only way you knew how to deal with the jealousy that surged within you when you saw a new girl leave Bellamy's tent every morning.
"It's good to see you didn't die in a burning fire." You teased, stepping forward as you let out a laugh. The confusion left Bellamy's face as he stepped forward to meet you in the middle, his own little cocky smirk on his lips. "Too hot to burn."
"Oh, that was bad." It was almost like the both of you forgot about those who surrounded you, you forgot that this was the first time you'd seen Octavia too and Clarke. Though you do remember Abby distinctly speaking about her daughter remember, you just never really got to see since you were bed ridden.
Taking your hand off of your bandaged wound, you raised your arms and wrapped them around Bellamy's neck. You felt him grow tense, no doubt not expecting you to be so warming around him. But you didn't care if it was odd of you to be so nice to Bellamy, you didn't care if anyone was staring. You'd like Bellamy for a long time now, and it felt like the both of you nearly dying made everything reset.
Eventually Bellamy returned the embrace, and as you pulled away you let out a grunt of pain. "Y/N?" Bellamy asked, leaning back to peer down at you. Laughing, you pulled up your shirt slightly to reveal the bandage on your stomach and the blood that started to leak through.
"Okay," Abby said, stepping forward; "it's time to go back to bed." She said, raising an eyebrow your way. You smiled sheepishly, looking away from Bellamy; "you left bed just for me?" Bellamy teased, unable to hide the smile that fell on his lips.
"Haha." You droned out; "I heard commotion, wanted to know what it was."
"Sure." Bellamy nodded and you let your mouth fall open in indignation. "I'll take her back to bed, Abby." Bellamy offered, wrapping an arm around your waist so you could lean against him. Abby nodded, a faint smile on her lips as she stepped out of the way.
"How kind of you."
"Only for you." Bellamy said, not looking at you but you felt shock run through your system. That was the most endearing thing he'd ever said to you, and as he finally met your eye; you didn't need more explanation on what he meant.
"Now that's something I thought i'd never see."
