The List

"What the hell do you mean she's expendable?!"

"I'm sorry Bellamy! But, she- she... could potential sickness..." Bellamy's eyes narrowed and he felt a spike of anger hit him that he couldn't control. He hadn't felt this angry towards Clarke in months. He hated it but he had reason.

You stood slightly behind him, your fingers twisting against each other as you watched nervously. It was your fault. You shouldn't have been snooping around with Monty and Jasper, that way Jasper would have never found the list and Monty would have never listed off the names. You were hurt, yes, but you understood, you just weren't that important.

They didn't need another person, they needed someone who could fight or work for them, allow this generation to live on.

"B-Bellamy..." You tried to call out, make him see reason but he shook his head; "no, Y/N." Was all he said.

Turning back to Clarke he glared at her, "you looked through her files?" Clarke hesitated, unsure if she should nod before reluctantly she nodded. Bellamy stepped forward threateningly, "what gives you the right?" You could feel his anger from here.

You made the decision to step forward, before Bellamy did something he regretted. You grabbed his arm, pleading into his eyes. "Please, Bell, let's just go." You begged and he looked at you, pausing. "Please." You tried again and he sighed, allowing you to drag him out of the room.

You led him to your guys room, stepping inside with an awkward silence. "L-Look Bella-"

"Y/N, i'm sorry." Pausing, you turned confused. "Sorry?" You asked.

"Sorry she put my name and not yours." He shook his head, still angry that he'd been put on there and not you. He didn't like it. It was either the both of you, or none of you.

"It's okay," you reassured, holding his cheek. "I'm not mad. At anyone. This is only a back-up plan, there will be others." You smiled and Bellamy stayed silent, just looking for comfort in your smile before sighing.

"You're going on that list."

"Okay." You nodded, knowing better than to fight. He smiled slightly, happy you hadn't fought him. Stepping forward he hugged you.

"I love you."
