Being sent to earth was a blessing and a curse. When you were being sent down, you had time to reflect on how you went wrong with your life.
Originally, you were turning eighteen in two weeks, and you were to be floated for the crime of being in a distrusting family. Almost everyone in your family had been having more than one child, or breaking other rules. Your parents were floated, but for two different reasons. Your dad had tried to steal medicine for your mother, who was secretly pregnant, and your mother had been taking more food than normal, sometimes going as far as to take it and bring it back home. They were both floated at the same time, the chancellor never knew your mothers secret.
Forced on the ship with no friends, you thought your life was doomed. Forever to be tainted with the image of your parents in a small confined death into open abyss.
But when the ship had landed,and you could hear the voice of your one true friend, and your secret crush.
Bellamy Blake.
You'd met him when his sister Octavia turned three. And you were the only non family member of the Blake's who knew about her.
Both of you bonded over the fact that both your families were treated wrong. Sometimes when you both couldn't sleep you would meet by one of the large windows that was almost never guarded. You had started cuddling to keep warm when you were 15 and he was 17, though it was nights like those where there was stars everywhere and you wished you could just stare at the space around you forever.
When you had heard his voice on the same ship that brought you all to earth, you were astonished.
~~~
Things moved slowly between you two at first. He was becoming the peoples leader. But sometimes, you didn't side with him because you thought that maybe this wasn't the same Bellamy that you had fallen in love with.
You helped pull some weight, lighting some small fires for people to keep warm, and picking some small fruit for snacks.
It had been a month since the 100 had landed on earth, and you were almost settled. Most of the tents that didn't have holes in them were set up and had assigned people to 'live' inside them.
You weren't so lucky for tent choosing, and decided you'd be better off in a hammock outside.
Bellamy, for the one of first times while you were here, after all of the other dangerous things you had done like eating weird berries, had been arguing with you for an hour.
"You can't sleep outside Y/n, it's cold"
"I don't care if it's cold Bell, I'm sleeping outside, all the other tents are full."
"Y/n I forbid you to sleep outside. It's cold, and what if a Grounder catch you?"
You were sick and tired of Bellamy's attitude. He hadn't spoken to you once since you arrived.
"Bellamy I can't do this anymore. I'm done with you" Your throat hurt from the restraint, and you eyes held back tears. Before Bellamy could have another word in, you rushed out of the ship, and grabbed a blanket and ducked into a deeper part of the forest.
Once you couldn't hear the chatter of camp or the crackling of the fires anymore. Softly laying on the crunchy leaves, the blanket curled around your already shivering frame. You could swear you heard footprints, but at this point you didn't care if it was a grounder.
"Y/n come on let's go back to camp" It was Bellamy's voice again, an irritated tint to his voice.
You turned so your back was facing him.
"Y/n come on" His voice got louder at the end, and you presumed that he was crouching next to you now.
"No"
"Y/n seriously stop being so stubborn all the time. Let's Go"
"I thought you loved me." You rolled on your side. You tried so hard to keep your expression composed, white as an old scar, fists clenched tight.
"You haven't talked to me in a month Bell without ordering me around. I'm tired of it."
"Well I'm sorry Y/n if I'm still getting used to being down here. You don't understand what I had to go through to make sure that Octavia had someone down here to protect her."
"I don't understand?" You were furious.
"What you don't seem to understand Bellamy Blarke is that i have just as much tragic experiences than you. I had to watch all of my family die because of stupid laws. I had to watch my father and pregnant mother be torn up by the lack of air. Don't you dare say that I don't know how it feels. You of all people should know that. I thought you understood me." You took a shaky breath in.
" I thought you loved me Bell."
"I do. That's the fucking tragedy, isn't it?"
You turned around to meet his eyes, "what?"
"That's the fucking tragedy isn't it. I've never been able to tell you but the one time i decide it's because i drove you off into the woods and i didn't want you to get hurt."
"Bell.."
"No seriously Y/n. I realized the last time we were able to talk by the window at the ark. I'm in love with you. But it's a tragedy because I screwed up."
"Bell.." You stood up slowly from your little blanket bed. "You didn't screw up"
"Yes I did Y/n. I pushed you out of my life."
"Okay well.." You laughed quietly and Bellamy saw that as an an Okay sign. "Maybe you kind of messed up there. I mean we are in the middle of a war and we're at least 15 minutes away from camp"
"You're right we should probably get back-" Bellamy picked up your blanket and started walking back before you interrupted him.
"Bell wait."
"Come on Y/N"
You pouted, "But I haven't had my first earth kiss yet."
