Guess Things Fade

~ 2 weeks later~
So I guess things just changed. Me and Matt start growing apart. I start talking to Shawn more. That's sad he was like my best friend. And now were drifting. We need to talk. I walk downstairs and out the front door and close it behind me. I walk next door and ring the door bell. The door opens.

"Hey Bobby haven't seen you around in a while." Mrs. Espinosa said.

"Yeah but I'm here to fix it." I said and she smiled and let me in.

I walked upstairs to Matt's room and knock on his door.

"Just a minute." He said from in his room.

I wait for like 5 minutes. Which I think entirely to long.

"Oh hey Bobby." He said and gave a strange look.

"Hey Matt. Surprised." I said.

"Yeah but come in." He said walking into his room leading the way.
I sit down on the bed and he looks at me like 'why are you here'.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"For what?" He asks.

"For not telling you why I didn't talk to you that day." I said.

"It's ok Bobby that's in the past." He says.

"Ok but it ruined the future. Now the present." I said to him.

"Then tell me Bobby." He said sitting down next to me.

"So when we were at IHOP , well when we left you kissed that girl and it kinda hurt. I didn't want to tell you though. I didn't want to have feelings for my best friend. But because I didn't tell you that it changed everything." I said and took a deep breathe out.

"Are you serious?" He asked looking at me.

"Serious as serious could be. But it's ok I don't have feelings anymore so can we please go back to how it was." I said.

"Sure but you can tell me anything. Now give me a hug." He said.
I give him a hug and nestle my face into his neck. I embrace it because I know I don't like him anymore. His cologne smells good.

"Yeah you miss this." Matt said pulling out the hug smiling.

*Matt POV*

"I sure do." She said smiling.
Why didn't she tell me. I liked Bobby ever since the day I gave her that first kiss. Her lips were so soft but I had to pull away quick because she might've not liked me then. I don't want her feelings to fade for me. But I am going with Sarah. The girl from IHOP. But I've wished it was Bobby. We did drift apart. She was my best friend that was a girl. And she was steady slipping out of my grip further and further. But I didn't know how to approach her. Good thing she did because that also tells me how she still cares.

"What would you like to I on this fine day?" She asks me.

"Can we just catch up?" I ask her.

"Sure." She says with a smile. It's gorgeous.

"So that girl from IHOP is my girlfriend." I say.

"Ooo cool." She says with a smile.
She has gotten over me.

"Yeah but anyways who do you talk to?" I asked.

"Gilinsky." She answered.
"Really?" I questioned.

Really Gilinsky my friend that just made me sad a little in the inside.

"No." She said laughing. "I don't talk to anyone." She added and laughed a little bit more before she stopped..
