The college had a big sports field and a hall for indoor activities. the hall was used for gym, badminton, table tennis and a few other things. I had left Rita and made my way into the hall, the place was busy. some were playing while others were watching, I noticed most students dressed in jerseys, many showed too much skin and compared to them Rita was a nun.
Since this was a conference, no rules students did what they wanted. I got to the badminton spot and picked a racket, the staff overseeing the game did the pairing and recording. He paired me with a girl from FGGC a federal girls college, the girl was tall and walked with such charisma, her makeup was a little too much and looking at her I wondered what it will be like to attend an all girls school. Students from single sex schools find it hard to adjust to their environment when they graduate, and the girls from FGGC were said to be mostly lesbians (a rumor though) , maybe because the school was a boarding school. Mine was both but I was a day student like my friends, I looked at the girl again wondering if she was a lesbian. Funny me.
Before my game, five girls from my school asked me about the two new hot guys they saw with us earlier, I gave nothing except their names, not like I knew anything else other than the fact that they're leaving Concordia and moving to our school.

My game was easy, the girl from FGGC was not as tough as she looked.
I was ahead of her by far. She was an easy opponent, I bet I could win her in five matches in a row.
When my game was almost over I noticed the guys among the audience, how long have they been there? I asked myself.
I gave my racket to the next player after I was through and picked up my hand towel to wipe my face, I saw Micah wave to me so I went to meet them. when I reached them, Micah gave me a hug and Michael patted my arm.
"Nice game " Jason said
And Steven just nod at me
"Thanks " I said to Jason
"Where's J-bee? I asked
"With Rita " Michael replied.
"OK let's go eat " I suggested
"Yea" Micah agreed
"You play badminton well, do you play in school? Jason asked
"Yea......I play for my house in school and have represented my school in interschool competitions too" I replied.
"That's cool" Steven puts in
"Yea , I've learned badminton since I was a kid, It runs in the family. My dad loves to play and he taught me. we play at home all the time and I grew to love it more than any sport." I explained
"That's the longest speech I've heard from you" Steven commented
"Nope " I denied
He raised his eyebrows at me
"Its just ........................" I stopped not knowing what to say.
"You don't like me " he finishes
"I didn't say that " I said
"You don't have to, the first time we met I asked your name and you looked at me like I was a plague " he said and I almost laughed.
This guy is funny, I was just staring.
"Well I don't hate you " I said smiling
" don't mind Sarah " Micah starts
"She's been through a tough time lately and has been bitchy recently"
" what happened " Jason asked
" she's had her heart broken by a loser ". Michael said before I could stop him.
"Oops .........sorry " he said looking at me with sad pitiful eyes.
Steven looked at me like the pain was writing all over my face.
We got to the place food was been served and got our food. The food was really inviting, it was kind of them to feed us with such delicious food for free. There was a store you could buy snacks too, for those who were not able to eat the food provided for any reason. The camp has been nice so far, everything was available.
We sat on one of the tables in the dining hall to eat, I was really famished. The game had really whipped up my appetite.
I noticed Steven didn't get anything.
There were varieties, rice, pasta, porridge and moi moi. How can he refuse that!
"You're not eating? I asked
"Am not hungry " he replied
And I noticed Jason looked at him, I wonder why.
"Sarah ........Jason and Steven are moving to our school " Micah informed me, looking up from his phone for the first time since we sat down, I wonder how he managed to eat while busy pressing his phone. Micah was so addicted to his phone, his mum usually say you could sell him without him realizing.
"Oh really " I pretended like I didn't already know. I didn't want them knowing we talked about them earlier.
" which school are you moving from? I asked
" Concordia " Jason replied
"Why " I faked surprise
They just looked at each other and said nothing.
" Jason is a science student Sarah " Michael said changing the subject.
" you're going to share classes" he adds
"OK '
"What are you guys discussing ' Rita asked as she and J-bee joined us.
"We were planning on how to settle in your school " Steven answered her.
" wow! That is great " she half yelled.
Why was she this excited.
" I could help you settle you know " Rita said in her not too serious tone.
" that will be great ' Jason said grinning
" I know every fun thing, events, the right crowd to hang out with, how to be popular and even the right chicks you might like " she rattled.
" oh I like this girl " Jason said laughing and Steven smirked.
I just shook my head, guys will always be guys.
"Sarah can help you settle academically " Micah suggested
"Leave the brain work to her" he add
"Beauty and brains " Steven said again.
And I won't deny the fact that I actually liked it.
