chapter twenty six

Sarah's POV......

When I got to school the next day I was determined to move on, I had settled things out with Sam and now there's no looking back.
I tried not to look at him in class and act normal the whole time, I had made up my mind to forget him.
During break I sat near Rita and Micah in the cafeteria and he kept looking at me.

" how are things with you Sarah? Michael asked.

" am fine " I said

" owk guys hope everyone is coming for the youth fellowship's 'love feast' this evening " Micah said.

" oops I almost forgot " said J-bee.

" I wouldn't miss it for anything " Rita said.

" I love feasts " Jason said smiling and we all laughed.

" well I guess everyone is coming then? Michael asked.

" yea.........so it seems " I concluded.

" and please guys invite someone " Micah said. " bring someone "

" sure I'll bring as many as I can " Rita said.

I thought of who to invite but I couldn't resolve who it should be, most of my neighbors were in boarding school and the ones left I was not very familiar with.
We spent the rest of the break listening to Michael chatter about how he did most of the organizing (the love feast), he said he was the chief organizer. And he was just one of the committee members.
I kept looking at him, what Rose had told me kept ringing in my ears, I couldn't talk to him yesterday because I was in no mood for that but today I have too, I have to find out the truth.

" Michael break time is almost over, can you please accompany me to the stationary shop I need to get something " I said hoping to get him away from the group.

" owk sis, let's go " he said standing up.

We went out and headed towards the stationary store, and I couldn't find the words to say.
" Mike I need to talk to you about Wama " I said finally

" uurrrrrgh Sarah " he sighed.

" I know you're cheating on Annie with her, don't even deny it " I said swiftly.

" how did you know? He asked surprised.

" so its true......."

" oh my!  please..."

" but why Michael, why Wama, of all the girls you could................why her?

" why not her?

" she's Annie's classmate, what if Annie finds out?

" she won't "

" how sure are you?

" because it will never happen again " he puts his hands on his head " it was just a mistake, a real big mistake "

" well I hope so, because Annie loves you so much and she's such a nice person "

" I know Sarah. I know...."

The hall to be used for the love feast was decorated and everything was kept in place.
There were a lot of familiar faces around because the feast was organized by the youth fellowship in my church.
Apart from coming with my little brother David, I invited a neighbor who was yet to come.
I was early so I sat outside waiting for the arrival of my friends. When I grew bored I called Rita and she told me for like the 3rd time she was almost there.
Cmon Rita don't leave me out here alone.....I thought.
Just then Micah came towards me, he was with a guy I didn't recognize.
