Steven's POV

I fiddle with the ring on Sarah's thumb, she was lying on my chest as I sat on the big couch in my sitting room,  we had been like this for a long time now and honestly I didn't want her to leave, I don't want her to ever leave.
Now that she has declared her feelings for me it was like my feelings for her had been doubled, maybe even tripled.
But just as I was happy, I was also worried. If I am to go with Josephine's advise,I have to tell her everything, but what if she doesn't take it well. I can't risk that, not when I have a chance to be with her now.

" Steven " she suddenly said breaking a long silence.

" yes love. "

" what are you thinking of now?

I smiled. " how to convince you to stay for the next five hours......or more "

She laughed. " I'll be going soon. You know I have to get home, if not my parents are going to start calling "

" you could switch off your phone "

" nah. I don't want them to get worried "

" too bad " I said bringing her hand to my lips.

" Steven......." She started

" yes dear "

"I'm willing to trust you but you have to be honest with me " she said taking my hand in hers.

" ok "

" and you have to tell me the truth about everything. I just want to know the truth. I don't want secrets between us "

" what if it changes the way you feel about me? I asked.

" whatever it is, you have to tell me "

I turned her so I could look into her eyes, " Sarah can you just forget it. Please. "
I lean in and kissed her lightly, " whatever happened is in the past, what matters is now. Just know you are very important to me and I'll never hurt you or do anything to jeopardize what we have "

did you rape her? I need the truth, just tell me " she said looking away

I was shocked. " no I didn't!
She just framed me for a crime I never committed, I could never do that. I loved her !
I blurted out before I could think. I paused and took a long breath. I didn't know Sam had told Sarah about Diana, I thought he just told her I was expelled and the friend of his archenemy Alex.
" damn Sam!!  So he told you about Diana. I can't believe this "

" tell me everything " she said and I could feel the seriousness in her tone.

" oh Sarah I don't even know where to start"

" just tell me what happened, I need to know"

"I fell in love with her......" I said slowly " she was pretty, funny, flirty and smart. When we started dating, I promised her I was going to quit my player ways and she believed me. We were happy for a while, but she had no idea I lied to her, I was still screwing other girls."

" then why did she report you to the police? Why would she accuse you of rape? Why would she lie?

" because she wanted to get back at me, she wanted to make me pay. She wanted to hurt me for cheating on her with her cousin " I said looking away.

" what! You screwed her cousin? I can't believe this " she said. letting go of my hand she sat upright.

" l'm not proud of who I was, I regretted doing it ..............but then I didn't know Lucy was her cousin............ I Screwed up big time and I know it "
