chapter forty seven

Sarah's POV

I flip on my bed again not wanting to stand up, I had been thinking since I woke up this morning. Since Steven told me about his heart condition I couldn't stop thinking of what might happen in the future, I was scared.
Now I wasn't scared of Steven not having feelings for me, I was scared of what his feelings for me could do to him................
What if it ends badly, but there's no turning back now, now that I've told him how I feel about him.
Yesterday when he brought me home I saw the joy in his eyes and I don't want to ever hurt him.
I picked up my phone and saw I had three missed calls, I smiled when I saw the caller's ID.
Steven called me three times this morning, and we spoke till about 12pm last night. I dialed his number and he picked rather too quickly.
" hello love " he said sounding cheerful

" hi.........miss me already "

" yea sure. How won't I when you have been on my mind since I woke up. "

" awwwn so sweet, how was your night " I asked blushing

" cool. Yours?

" same. Am still in bed. "

" get up lazy girl "

" I don't want to, I want to lie here all day thinking about you......."

" well then your permitted, don't get out of bed "

I laughed. " naughty boy."

" what are your plans for today?

" I'm going shopping with my mum "

" shopping?

" Yes. Christmas shopping "

" oh cool, I forgot Christmas is almost here. But too bad I wanted us hanging out today "

" oops. Tomorrow then "

" but is that a promise?

" yea. Sort of "

" well baby girl you're in for a big surprise tomorrow "

" bring it on mister "

Steven's POV

" tell me more " Sarah said sounding serious again. " tell me more about your heart "

" oh please. You're the last person I want to talk about that to " I said pouting my lips.
We were seated in my car, I had the doors opened. The ice cream and snacks I got us from mega D was between us. Initially I planned to take her to the park but then we ended up parking under a tree near the river and she decided it was a better spot. The place was cool, the breeze was amazing and from were we are we could see the people on the river bank, some children were playing in the water. It was a small river so there were only few small canoes in sight. The gentle breeze blowing, birds chirping in the trees, and splashes of water and laughter, all gave the scenerio an African touch.

" what! Why? I want to know everything about you." Sarah said bringing my attention to her.

" but am not comfortable talking to you about it "

" why? It's no big deal "

" I'm fine. Just know that okay " I said hoping she'll drop it.

" I know. Well actually I was hoping for like past happenings, like little heart drama's in the past "

I laughed.  " no little heart dramas in the past. "

" oh please, okay let's make a deal. You tell me a little more about it and I'll tell you all you wish to know about me "
