Sarah's POV

The next few days was uneventful for me, I focus on preparing for my exams. I tried to keep my Steven issues off my mind, and it helped that he was absent from school, he's yet to recover I guessed.
When I heard the last bell for the day I got up quickly and made my way to Wama's class, I had planned on talking to her because after Annie came to me with her doubts about Michael, saying she thinks he's cheating on her, I lied and told her it was not true but I knew I had to do something about it. If the truth comes out Annie will hate me for lying to her, so I had to make sure it stop and since I couldn't trust Michael anymore because he told me it was a mistake and it won't happen again but clearly he'd lied to me. So I decided the option was to talk to Wama.
When I reached her she was parking her bag, she smiled when she saw me " Sarah"

" hey " I said

" is there anything you need?

" we need to talk " I said sharply.

" ok. What do you want to talk about ? She asked her mood changing when she noticed I was not smiling.

" Michael " I said swiftly

" Michael? She asked raising a eyebrow at me.

" yes. I know "

She kept quiet for a while and then she heaved a big sigh " not here Sarah " she said looking around.

" ok where?

" I'll come to your house later in the evening and we'll talk "

I looked at her and saw she was serious so I nodded, she looked somehow scared, not the Wama I knew. She always had this bold face like she was not afraid of anything but right now she looked weak and sad.
" and please don't tell Rita " she said before she left.
Rita was with me when Rose told us about it but when I found out about the bracelet I didn't tell Rita, I didn't make anything of it but when Annie came to me with her suspicion I knew it had to mean they're still meeting behind Annie's back.

Later in the evening Wama came as promised and she looked quite nervous, she dressed in a simple T-shirt and jeans with no make up and she didn't look anything like the Wama I knew in school. She was still very beautiful without any makeup and I wondered why she cared about it so much. We went to my room and I closed the door, I didn't want any of my parents or my brother to have to hear what we were going to say.
She looked me straight in the eye when we sat on my bed facing each other and said " just know this Sarah everything I am about to tell you is true, I have no reason to lie "

I nodded " am not judging you, I just want to know the truth "

" you must think I'm a horrible person to be screwing innocent Annie's boyfriend right "

I didn't know if she meant it as a question so I was silent.
" it was a mistake at first " she said

" Michael said the same thing " I said quietly

" and it's true. Just hear me out and then you'll understand "

I nodded and she adjusted herself and continued.

" Sarah I never meant for any of this to happen. I've never done something like this before, you know I don't date, I mess around but I've only been involved with guys my type, guys like me. Not ones that have girlfriends. "

" why then? You fell in love with him?

" what happened between me and Mike wasn't suppose to happen. You know things have been hard for me since my dad passed away....... " she paused and sniffed and I saw a tear run down her face slowly, I reached out and grabbed the handkerchief on my drawer by the bedside and handed it to her, she took it and wiped her face.
