"How the hell did he find out?" Stiles asks loudly when Scott tells him about his encounter with Jackson. Scott looks at me, and Stiles' jaw drops.
"It wasn't me," I protest.
"No, but you knew how close he was, and you didn't say anything!" Scott fumes.
"Did he say it out loud - the word?" Stiles inquires.
"What word?" Scott asks.
"Werewolf. Did he say, 'I know you're a werewolf,'?" Stiles demands.
"No, but he implied it pretty freaking clearly," Scott answers.
"He mentioned a bite or a scratch or my witch powers," I supply.
"You told him about your powers, too?" Stiles looks at me incredulously.
"No, I didn't tell him anything!" I yell. People in the hall turn to look at me, and I drop my gaze. "I don't talk to Jackson. I didn't tell him anything."
"Okay, maybe it's not as bad as it seems," Stiles rationalizes.
"Jackson knows about werewolves," I argue.
"Well, he doesn't have any proof, right?" Stiles raises his eyebrows.
"He has Scott's lacrosse glove," I say quietly. "And the claw mark on his neck from Derek."
"Well, if he wanted to tell someone, who's gonna believe him anyway?" Stiles asks.
"Hunters," I deadpan. "Allison."
"Okay, it's bad," Stiles realizes. I nod once, scowling.
"I need a cure. Right now," Scott tells us. I sigh, dropping my shoulders.
"Does he know about Allison's father?" Stiles seeks clarification.
"I don't know," Scott breathes.
"Okay." Stiles turns to me. I stare at him expectantly. "Where's Derek?"
"I don't know," I echo Scott.
"Well, can't you just know? You don't need visions anymore, right?" Stiles asks.
"I don't know, Stiles," I hiss. "I have so many other things going on in my head right now that I can't even think clearly, let alone sort out my thoughts enough to be psychic, alright? It's not easy, you know! It's hard!"
Tears burn my eyes. I don't want Stiles or Scott to see, so I turn away angrily and run to the girls' bathroom.
