Chapter 13: Jeanette Haunted

Jeanette is reading a book sitting down on the sofa -where Brittany slept the day they all got extremely sick and - which is near the window when suddenly a gush of wind blew the curtains on the window. Jeanette stood up and just closed it, she didn't pay attention to it since she thought its only going to be windy or stormy. She continued reading her book sitting down on the bed of her and her sisters. She's actually left alone, Dave and the Chipmunks went to buy something at the walking distance store. Well, its 1 hour away travelled by foot so they'll be back after 2 hours. She always wondered why didn't they just used the store's phone to call, oh wait a minute yeah, there's no signal even there. She had gone there once and its very tiring so she decided to just stay. Her sisters on the other hand were just waiting downstairs for the boys, while Arthur had gone to help fix Dave's car-So they thought- and Dave with the boys at the store-or knocked out- they are on the cashier. Well, no one had checked in or out and they wondered why they are there, well maybe just in case, the poor Inn will get shut down if they don't get some customers soon.  Back with Jeanette, the breeze in the room started increasing. She checked the temperature level and its only 77 ° F which is a normal room temperature. "Why is it so cold?" She asked out loud as she shivered. She closed her book and turned the heater on but after few minutes it still hadn't affected the temperature.
"Great, the heater is broken" Jeanette muttered. Suddenly the bathroom door creaked open which caught her attention and gasped as it shut.
"What just happened?" She asked getting scared. Suddenly the lights started flickering.
"Oh gosh, Brittany's not hallucinating" Jeanette said and rushed towards the door but it wouldn't budge. She turned around and saw the girl that Brittany told them and its right hand is holding an axe as the other is pointing at her feet. She gulped. She tried jumping up then twisting the knob- since she's a chipette- a lot of times but it still wouldn't open.
"Oh gosh, Help!!" She screamed but no one heard.
"Oh please go away" Jeanette said crying. Its slowly inching towards her until there's a knock on the door. "Jeanette open up!!" Brittany called then the lights stopped flickering and the girl disappeared. Jeanette quickly jumped up and opened the door. "Jeanette why are you taking so-
" But Beittany was cutted of by Jeanette hugging her
"Okay? What happened?" Brittany "I'm sorry I doubted what you said! You're not hallucinating! I saw her, the girl with the axe! She also wanted to cut my feet off!" Jeanette started crying out loud. Brittany hugged Jeanette back.
"You're not sick are you Jeanette?" Eleanor asked and felt Jeanette's temperature.
"Its normal" Eleanor said as Brittany and Jeanette broke their hug.
"Ellie, I told you we're stating the truth. We're not hallucinating" Brittany said
"Sorry but that is just impossible. I mean, I love ghost stories, hauntings and movies but there is still not enough proof to believe they are. I've never seen a ghost face to face or monster aside from Ms.Croner and other people dressing up." Eleanor explained
"But this time its real Ellie, Brittany saw it and I didn't believe at first since I know its not true but now I've seen it with my two eyes. I'm not even sick so I'm not hallucinating" Jeanette said "You pregnant?" Eleanor asked and Jeanette glared at her
"I'm not!! Where did you come up with that?!" Jeanette asked
"Take a chill pill Jean, Just making sure you haven't done it yet with Simon that make you go seeing things since Pregnant women hallucinates" Eleanor said which made Jeanette glared at her even more "I would never" Jeaanette said
"Maybe in the near future" Eleanor said
"Why are you even asking me that? Shouldn't Brittany be the one you ask that Question?" Jeanette asked and Brittany glared at her
"Well, With Alvin's immaturity and by the way they disagree and fight, its safe to say Brittany isn't experienced yet. It wouldn't happen sooner" Eleanor said
"Oh please they're like being sweet to each other and with the way Alvin is treating Brittany in the car you know the kisses, also Alvin is like a chick boy and can be green minded so its safe to say we can doubt Brittany is still unexperienced" Jeanette said trying to get the topic out of Simon and her its really creepy. Brittany widened her eyes
"Jeanette! You're so gross!" Brittany yelled making a Cringe face
"Now you've given me a nightmare and its Eleanor that said that not me, why shouldn't you get back at her using theodore?" She added.
"Brittany, Theodore is still too young and innocent I'm sure its not gonna happen sooner or later. But with the way your reflecting the question to me then its safe to say that you are no more Innocent" Eleanor said and Brittany gasped and widened her eyes "Seriously! We're talking 'bout the ghost not my innocence!!" Brittany exclaimed. Her sisters smirk.
"You have done it with Alvin don't you?" Jeanette asked
"What?!" Brittany asked as she readied herself to run
"Because you're nervous" Eleanor said "Earlier the two of you are fighting and now you're getitng along because of this" Brittany said nervously she tried to make a run but Eleanor grabbed her hands and Jeanette kicked the door close
"Just admit it already" Eleanor said "How are you so sure its with Alvin?" Brittany asked her sisters gasped
"You mated with a human?!" The two exclaimed and Brittany laughed
"Got yah, you just wouldn't back off. I was nervous 'cause its very unccomfortable. Really, I haven't done it with anybody. Calm down. You two are just nervous as I am when you two are asked about Simon and Theodore" Brittany said then explained. Eleanor and Jeanette sighed in relief
"Phew, for a second there I thought you do it with a human" Eleanor said "Or with Alvin and Be an aunt this early" Jeanette added
"You do know we are talking about that inappropriate thing at age 15 right?" Brittany asked
"Eleanor started it" Jeanette quickly said pointing a finger at Eleanor
"Hey, our topic at school this term in Health is Reproduction, guys its Science you shouldn't be creeped out by it" Eleanor said
"Yeah but mentioning our names with certains someones doing that is real inapropriate" Brittany said
"But admit it you wanted to do it with them" Esleanor said smirking "What?!" Brittany exclaimed
"No way!" Jeanette added
"Eww!!" They both said together "Whatever, you're just being grossed out now but soon enough you'll find them Inside you" Eleanor said which made Brittany run towards the bathroom and Jeanette covered her mouth clutching her stomach.
"You're so gross Elliee!!" Brittany screamed from the Bathroom. Then suddenly the door opened
"Hey girls, what's up?" Alvin asked as he and his brothers went in.
"Oh hey Daddy, your Brittany is just having morning sickness" Eleanor joked while Jeanette and her tried hiding their laughs.
"Okay?" Alvin asked confused
"Wait did you say morning sickness?!" Simon asked panicking
"Yeah" Eleanor said smirking
"Alvin!!" Simon exclaimed
"What?! Its not my fault she's sick" Alvin said
"Oh yeah its your fault! Did you even know what morning sickness means?! Brittany's pregnant with your baby!!" Simon yelled and Alvin's eyes widened
"I did not do it with her yet!!" Alvin exclaimed
"Then how is Brittany Pregnant?" Simon asked
"I am not, Eleanor is just making sick jokes" Brittany said glaring then her sisters bursts out laughing
"Eleanor that is so mean" Jeanette said
"I know, I know" Eleanor said which made Simon sigh in relief and Alvin and Brittany groan. Theodore just stay Silent the whole time
"Where's Dave?" Brittany asked
"He said he's going to check how his car and Arthur doing" Simon explaine and the Chipettes nod their heads. It was an  Awkward Silence when Jeanette burts out "Brittany isn't hallucinating, I saw the girl she saw and I'm not sick" Jeanette said "Now, that is a great acting Jeanette but not funny" Alvin said "No, really! I'm stating the truth!" Jeanette said
"Jeanette its just your mind playing trick on you, you probably needed some more rest" Simon said
"But-" Jeanette is cutted off
"Your fever is back, go get some rest" Simon said after checking her temperature.
"She's not sick earlier but she's really speaking funny crying saying she saw what Brittany saw" Eleanor said
"I did" Jeanette exclaimed
"Yes you did, but first you need to get some rest" Simon said picking Jeanette up bridal style.
"Believe her Simon, she's not sick earlier" Brittany said
"Shh, its probably because of the medicine you guys intake" Simon said laying Jeanette on the Chipettes bed
"Eleanor's normal, I mean aside from those sick jokes and talk" Jeanette said
"It could be an advance effect of your fever" Simon said "Just go get some rest" He added. Jeanette sighed and Just closed her eyes. Brittany just looked down sadly no one would believe them. Alvin put an arm around her
"Is there a problem?" Alvin asked. Brittany shook her head no since she knew he wouldn't believe and it would just lead to an argument then said "I'm just tired".
"Oh then get some rest" Avin said and Brittany smiled and lay down beside Jeanette and went to slumber land.
