Chapter 16: Just go, Marshall

Fionna's POV

"Marshall may you please go outside?" Gumball asked Marsh, politely. I looked at Marshall who narrowed his eyes at PG and asked, "Why should I?" Ugh. He's so stubborn!! I could feel my face heat up 'cause that was how annoying he was!!! I was fuming with anger! "MARSHALL YOU ALREADY SCARED THE GLOB OUTTA PG!! WILL YOU JUST GO? GEEZ!" I screamed. I hope it wasn't that loud.
I now hate Marshall more than ever. Then again. I've always hated him. Yes. I think...well...- "No." I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Marsh. "What?" I asked cause I'm not sure if I heard it right.
"You heard me. I said, no." He gave me one of his signature smirks and it sent me heating up with anger! "Sorry, Gumball um. Will you give us a sec?" I pleaded.
"Okay, go ahead" PG sighed and waved us off. I gave him my best smile and gave Lee one of my signature glares.
I took his hand and- "Oh! Don't you think you're going a little too fast, sweetcheeks?" I yanked his arm. "Ow!! Too rough!!"
"Shut up."
I took him out of the lab and shut the door behind us. "WHAT THE WHAT, MAN?! WHY'RE YOU ACTING LIKE THIS?!"

Marshall's POV

Why have I been acting like this?

I don't even know myself but I think I just realised that maybe I have been acting like a big jerk. Okay, laugh it up! The vampire king feeling guilty and regretting! But why have I been acting like that? I looked at Fi who looked like was gonna tear up soon. Geez, I'm sorry. But no way I'm going to say sorry again! I'm the vampire king!

But to Fi...AGH!! Why am I making this so complicated?! This is just great! Okay. Here it goes, "Sorry." Fionna began to cry?! Uh oh! "FI, WHAT'S WRONG?! I said sorry didn't I?" She wiped her tears away with the back of her hands and looked at me with watery eyes. "You don't get it, do you? Do you even know what sorry means?! Why do you keep repeating it? Why, Marshall?! Why are you acting like a total butt?!"
I shook my head with anger and I felt tears rolling down my cheeks?! I wasn't thinking of anything right now, but I was only focused on Fionna. "Fionna, I said I was sorry! I prom-"
"That's what you always say!! Why are you such a butt, Marshall Lee?!"

"What do you want me to do?! Beg? Plead in front of you-"

"Marshall, just go!!"

"Fionna, I-"

"Go!!"
She turned away.
I turned her face to face me again, feeling the rising heat of her cheeks.

"FIONNA, I WAS JEALOUS, OKAY?!"
