Chapter 8: The second day

Anna's POV:

*buzz *buzz *buzz *buzz

I woke up from the buzz of my alarm. Time check: 6:30 am.

Shit...I only slept for an hour. I got up and get dressed to start the day. Then I dragged my tired body to the dining room. Curse that damn music...

The first person I saw in the dining room was Lele, wiping the table. As he saw me, he greeted me politely and cheerfully

"Good Morning Anna! Did you sleep--- my goodness!" He was terrified on what he just saw "Look at those huge dark circles around your eyes! You look so pale. You look like a sorority girl who just discovered tequila last night"

I explained to him what happened

"That jerk! I've told him many times already to stop it!" He shouted angrily

Alyn suddenly passes by us, just in time Lele could throw a fit in him

But before Lele could throw a fit, Alyn turned to her saying "I'm stuffed, see ya later, fruitcake" as he was about to touch the door knob, I noticed Lele disappeared out of my sight

Faster than a bolt of lighting, he chases down Alyn and puts him in a headlock

"Ow!" Alyn reacted "Hey! What did I do?!"

"What do you say when someone makes you food?"

"Uhh..thank...you..."

"What did you say before?"

"What do you mean?"

"You called me 'fruitcake' didn't ya? Well take this!" Lele pulls Alyn's hair down to the table. Alyn bangs his fist to the table

"Enough! That hurts! You're pulling my hair!" Alyn shouted in pain

"Lele, he gives up!" I heard Yu, he's right beside me

After keeping him in a headlock for a while, Lele smiles and lets him go "I hope you learned your lesson, Al"

Does guys always do this everyday?! That must be scary as hell. If I were in Alyn's shoes, I'd be dead.

"Yu and Anna, breakfast is on the table" Lele smiled

"Thanks!" Yu smiled as he eats his food fast. His plate looked so delicious. Stacks of pancakes with blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and whipped cream on top, then the syrup was drizzled from the top. While I only had an apple, berries, nuts and tea. I've gotta keep tight on my diet.

Suddenly, Yu held my hand and says "Hey, Anna, after you're done eating, let's walk to school together!" he said cheerfully. Then he turned to Alyn "What do you think, Al?"

"*cough *cough. Oh! I would love to!" Alyn said sarcastically "But no thanks! I'm heading out right now"

Alyn rubs his neck as he leaves the dorm

"Typical. He's such a brat" Yu sighed then turned to me cheerfully "But don't worry, Anna. He's just shy. He doesn't get along with girls very easily"

Doesn't get along with girls? It made me flashed back the time where he saved me.

Tears were about to fall down my cheeks but I somehow managed to not let it out. Forget about him, Anna
