Anna's POV:
My limbs are exhausted. My eyes are still shut. It is the next day, and my whole body is hurting because of the sudden strength I used when I tried to fight back. The sunlight hitting my eyes forced me to wake up. I remembered falling asleep while I brush Alyn's hair.
I look beside me, seeing the boy still sleeping hard as a rock. Poor thing. I thoughted.
I checked the time, it's 8:00 am. A bit unusal for me to get up at this time after a crazy day.
I should make breakfast. The first thing I thought when I stood up. I should repay Andrew after he let us stay here for a night even if we're not allowed here.
And so I fixed my hair and wash my face. I'm still wearing Al's clothes because it's comfy. As soon as I went out of his room, surprisingly, Andrew was right in front of our room, cleaning the windows with a towel.
"Good morning, Miss Anna" he greeted me with a polite smile, "I'm sorry I haven't made you and master Alyn breakfast, I received an errand this early morning"
"It's alright Andrew, no need to apologize. I thought I'd helping you make breakfast" I offered, "May I?"
"Sure" he makes a small polite gesture before coming down the ladder, "Follow me, Miss Anna" and so I followed him
We reached to this humongous kitchen in front of me. It's so spacious and clean. The sunlight made it look so alive and somewhat calming.
I paid attention to the details of the kitchen as Andrew washes his hands from the sink and picks up 2 white aprons from a cabinet and prepares the equipment
"So, what are we making?" I asked with enthusiasm, "Toasts, eggs, bacon?"
"Avocado and shrimp salad" he replies
"I'm sorry, what?" I was not sure if I heard him right
"Avocado and shrimp salad. It's Alyn's favorite food" he looks at me with a look on his face like he doesn't want to make breakfast
"What the..." I reacted. Who eats avocadoes and shrimps for breakfast?
"I know. Master is somehow close to being a perfect man but ruined it because of this dish" he looks like he's about to cry on how sad this dish sounded to him
I patted his back, "avocados and shrimps are not that bad, right?"
"It is bad to me. I don't like avocados and I'm allergic to shrimp" he continues to show this dead look on his face, "Ever since he was little, he'd force me to make this dish. For me, it was torture"
By the sound of his voice, he looms like he's been through a lot.
"I wish I prepare the dish by myself but--" I paused, realizing that I slipped something from my mouth
"You can't cook, Miss?" he asked
I've been found out.
"I...can't..." I laughed nervously
"You don't have to be embarrassed, Miss Anna. You can rest and I should do the cooking. It's my job" he smiled
"But I want to help" I replied, "I wanted to repay you all after letting us stay here. It would be too rude if I stay here and not help"
"Miss, even just by your presence here helped us a lot" he continued to smile but this time, a much cheerful one.
"What do you mean?" I asked, not understanding of what he just said
"Sir Alyn was lonely until you came to his life. We wanted him to be happy ever since he was a little boy. It's new for us to see how protective he is to you. and because of you, we were relieved that his face is much more happier. We thank you for that" he bowed down
