Chapter 53 : Hesitation

Anna's POV:

It is the next morning and I'm already feeling nervous when I stepped in my school. Chill, Anna.

"Hey, Anna you're cold" Yu reached my hands, clasping them with his'

"I'm fine, I just got a little nervous" I replied

"Cheer up!" he smiles and tries to tickle my neck

"Yu!" I moved back, laughing too hard

"I'm just trying to make you laugh. I don't want you to be sad til playfest comes" he pats my shoulder and heads first to the school building

"Hello there, Anna" a voice caught my attention, it's the janitor who helped me from the garden before!

"Mister!" I exclaimed in happiness

It's been too long since the last time we spoke and see each other.

"Long time no see!" he lifts his palm as I gave him a high five

"I know, how are you've been doing?" I asked

"I'm doing pretty well" he replied, "I heard you were offered to enroll at WCA. Have you made your decision?" he puts a calm smile on his face

"Ahaha, thinking about that makes me very nervous" I replied

"Oh, I'm very sorry" he apologized

How come I never seen him around school lately?

"I just hope you won't go" he said, he's still smiling but I can tell that he's sad, "You've made a strong impact to the students here. I'm surprised that they became more responsibls and less chaotic ever since you got here"

My heart suddenly lifts up after hearing such flattering compliment.

"W-Wait, really?" I asked but I already know the answer. I did change them.

"It's true" he said, "But sadly, I haven't seen Scottfield in my class since yesterday, after the Student President of WCA came to our school"

"What's this to do with Alyn?" I asked,  confused

"He's become tamed because of you, Miss Lautner" he flicks his finger at my forehead

Are you kidding me?! He's the one who's been clingy even though I tell him to go away. I sure hope you see how disgusting perverted human being he is!

My mind stops, thinking about what he said, "I haven't seen Scottfied in my class since yesterday"

"Wait, did you just say 'in my class'?" I tried to clarify

"Well, yes. I am a teacher here--" he paused, "Wait, you still thought that I'm a janitor?!" he yelled angrily, "That troublesome boy, Alyn! I told him to tell you that I'm not a janitor" then he sighs to calm his nerves, "What am I gonna do to him?"

"So you're not a janitor after all?! Oh my God I'm very sorry that I mistook you as a janitor!" I apologized sincerely

"It's fine, Anna" he laughs

"Then you're teacher here?" I asked, again, to clarify things

"More as a teacher"

I didn't get what he meant by that, I'd consider that as a yes but I still want to ask, until...

"Principal Cooper" a rusty voice from behind made me jump, it's the annoying vice principal, "Let's get with the meeting, shall we?"

"Yes, Vice Principal" the janitor sighs as he continues to walk inside the office and waves goodbye
