Chapter 58 : Nora

Anna's POV:

"Sit down everyone" Mr. Olson raised his voice as he was about to announce our new guest

The busy air stopped and all of us gathered and sat on the stage, some are still standing to see the guest

Mr. Olson then continued, "Since Mr. Henderson couldn't make it, he asked his daughter, Nora, to critize your performance before the actual event" as he presents the tall girl beside him

She looked so professional and elegant as she stepped in front and gave us a cherish smile. She wore a heavy makeup with a dark lipstick and her hair is styled with a very neat braid. Something about her makes her look intimidating and...sly

Based on the whisperings, I heard she has the same age as us.

"Hello gentlemen, I am Nora, the daughter of Mr. Henderson, and I'm here to polish you for your performance. Please bear with me. I'm sorry my father couldn't make it. He had an urgent call that he must attend to" she bowed and gave a smile as she look around, then her gaze stopped as she saw me

I already know what's she gonna say...

"Oh!" she exclaimed, "So this is the infamous first female student here in St. Clement's Academy. I'm quite shocked. It must've been a nightmare for you being in here"

"Right..." I muttered, thinking that something about her makes me really annoyed

"Let's get started shall we?" Mr. Olson clasped his hands and signals us to prepare before he left the room

Everyone else started preparing as Nora sat at the farthest seat in the whole theatre.

"Now guys, make sure to make your voices loud and clear" Yu said through the phone

Our play continued as Nora watched us without saying a word. I kept glancing on her, she just looked so poised when she sits. One thing I noticed is that she kept staring at Alyn.

Our play ended half an hour later, all curtains were closed and all of us were gathered again right in front of the stage. Nora makes her way back to the front and clears her voice.

Her comments weren't really that much of a change for us, just some few twicks regarding with our technicals and voice projection at some parts she said. She complemented our costumes and settings.

"I truly admire the second main character, what's your name again?" she smiles as she turns her gaze unto Alyn

"I'm Alyn. I appreciate your compliment, Ms..."

"Nora, you can just call me Nora" she stated and gave a flirty look

"Sure" he replied

"But the one thing I'm really concerned is the main character" she slowly turns her head to the other side and pointed at me, "You"

I look around, checking everyone's faces were quite shocked

"I think the second main character stood much more than her. I think you should really improve" she continued as she looks at me with pity, "I want you to be more comfortable. Do you not like your role?" she asked

"No-no, I love it!" I replied, "I've had no complaints since I got this role and it is an honor to for me"

She nods her head, "Then perhaps you're not that comfortable with your partner, am I right?"

I suddenly turn into confusion. I've been practicing with Al for a long time and she just said I'm not comfortable

"I noticed" she holds my hand and leads me to Alyn, "At some parts, you try not to get really close to him, which makes you look quite awkward and stiff"
