I woke up at around 4:20pm in the clinic's bed. I felt quite a lot better after I lost consciousness and collapsed in class. I was extremely tired, I haven't even slept for days because of the rack at night.
I propped myself up and looked around, beside me is Ethan, sleeping in bed
"What the?!" I screamed, loud enough to wake him up "Why are you here with me, again?!" I back off and almost fell on the floor
"Careful! This bed isn't big enough for the two of us. We've gotta stay really close" he smirked "let's get naughty" he winked
"Hey hey hey! No! No freakin' way!" I backed off a bit from him and a tremendous idea pops up of my head. I'll kick him off of the bed and fuckin' choke him to death.
As I was about to kick him, I heard footsteps behind Ethan-
*SMACK* someone smacked Ethan on the head.
I glance to the person behind him. It's Alyn.
"Get away from her, you punk!" Alyn grabbed Ethan's arm, pulling him away from me
I never expected Alyn would be here, what was he doing here?
Ethan turned to him with a shocked expression "Alyn?! You-You're here?!" then he continued "That hurts...don't be so hard all the time"
Alyn grabbed Ethan's collar, pushing him to bump on the wall "That was nothing. Don't come near to her like that!" he replied
"Hey, hey! That hurts! Let go of my collar!" Ethan tried to push off Alyn "Alright, alright! I give up! You know I can't fight you" he raises his hands as a sign that he gives up
The door opens and Mr. Olson comes in "That's enough you two! If you want to fight, take it outside" he points out the door
Alyn releases Ethan's collar, I assumed that he's calm now
"Ethan- err Mr. Crawford, will you control yourself" Mr. Olson sighed
"We were just fooling around" Ethan replied
I was about to open my mouth but Mr. Olson turns to me and asks "Is it true? That you were just fooling around with this guy"
"Of course not! I don't do these sort of things!" I raised my voice with disapproval
"Exactly!" he turns to Ethan "perhaps I would tell Lele about this?"
"No! Please sir!" Ethan begged on his knees, Alyn lets out a small laugh
"So don't do crap like this again" Mr. Olson finishes his sentence "Now, all of you, hurry up and get your asses home"
I've never seen a teacher talks to his students like that.
"Relax guys, I was just keeping an eye on Anna. She was exhausted" Ethan said
Alyn crossed his arms "How was that 'just keeping an eye' on her?" he replied with a threatening tone of his voice
"What happened to me?" I asked
"After you collapsed, you never woke up. We lately realised that you were extremely exhausted" Mr. Olson explained then continues "I wonder if it's because some idiot was blasts his music late at night?" he said sarcastically
We all know who he was referring to, we all looked at Alyn. He was trying not to listen to topic
"You knew about it, too?" I turned to Mr. Olson
"The boy Yu Lim, complained it to me once, also the other boys at the dorm to. Even Lele told me about it" he replies then continues "Now that you collapsed and everyone has been complaining about it, it's a.l turning into a huge mess"
"He almost got you killed, Anna" Ethan said to me then smiles at Alyn
Then Alyn looks towards me with his sharp eyes. Maybe he's mad because he's getting the blame for me passing out. If he is, then fuck that! It's his fault for blasting out some loud music every night.
I tried to look back into his eyes but it makes me uncomfortable, the room was silent. What should I do? Go back to sleep? Yeah, I would do that! I can't take this conversation anymore, this is probably just a dream
I hid my face under the covers and closed my eyes
*SLAP* Mr. Olson slapped my forehead
"Ow!" I scratched my head
"Why are you going back to sleep?" Mr. Olson asked
I didn't answer but instead I glanced at Alyn, he was trying to say something
"I'm..." he said but we couldn't hear it clearly "I'm...I'm..."
"What is it? We couldn't hear you" Ethan put his hand on his ear to listen carefully
"Shut up! I'm not talking to you" he yelled then he gives up "Screw this! I'm going home"
Then he left us in the room
