Chapter 56 : Explore and discover

N's POV:

After that arguement, things went back to normal for everyone. Ethan and Lia started dating, but when he got home, Lele throws a big punch at him for almost forgetting his promise.

Anna decides to tag along with Alyn for this stroll around the city. Anna still wears Alyn's clothes for this short trip, since it's not that hot anymore.

The two began to stroll alongside of the streets. Alyn tucked his hands to his pants' pockets, walking at his normal pace, as Anna stays quiet, her gaze is on the ground. Alyn observes her expression then finally begins to speak

"You're not really okay with those to, aren't ya?" he tilt his head, little far back as he smiles at her

Unfortunately, she wasn't looking at him when he asked.

"To be honest, yeah" her gaze still focused on the ground then lets out a sigh, "I mean those two? They're my friends but I felt weird at the fact that they're together"

Alyn doesn't respond, his eyes were focused at the surroundings but his ears focuses on Anna.

"It feels weird because I talk to the boys things that I've never talked to the girls. Now I have to watch my mouth whenever they're around" she continued, trying so hard to explain her point

"What about Louis and Rena?" he asked

"Well, they're different. They're more of an introvert--kind of people. Lia is my best friend who I want to look after but hey her V card is gone because of that digusting guy" she clenched her fist and gritted her teeth

"I get what you're trying to say" he replied, "But give them another chance, okay? It's better to accept things like this. I mean, they can live their life, it's theirs after all" he clicks his tongue

"Fine" Anna rolled her eyes and let out another sigh to get ger mind off of it, "So, where are we going?"

"Just walking, get some good exercise"  he replied

"Wha--"

Alyn suddenly turns left, his gaze focuses what's in front of him. Anna shakes her head in confusion

"'Just walking'?" she questioned, Alyn nodded and it made her even more confused, "I understand that walking is an exercise but now's not the good time to exercise at this time"

"Just explore around the city. You said you wanted to come along, so this is my activity, just observing the area" he makes hand gestures as he looks at Anna then he suddenly turns to the right, which leads to an empty alley

"Dead end" she mentioned as she looks at the backs of the buildings in front of her

The place is filled with garbage, fire exits, scattered junk, boxes, and a few spray paints.

"We should go back" she said, slowly turning around

"You know how to parkour, right Lautner?" Alyn asked, Anna can only see his back but she can tell Alyn is observing the walls and stairs.

"Uhh yeah, why?" she responds, her eyes shift from left to right, has no idea what's happening in Alyn's mind

"Do you think a person can climb up there..." Alyn points at a corner then explains it as he moves his finger creating an imaginary trail up to the roof top, "...and survive that?"

"Are you kidding me? Why would you ask these stupid--" she raised her voice but Alyn cuts her off

"Please work with me here" he looks at her with a straight face, she can telk that he's not joking
