Okay so I'm now in my pajamas, not the childish type. Just some grey sweatpants and maroon t-shirt. I've already applied moisturiser as well, that's the messiest part. Putting lots of layers of different moisturisers makes my skin feel more oilier.
*CLASH*
I grabbed Alyn's towel and stop in fron of his room. As soon as I stopped, I heard a clash. Sounded like a broken glass. I wonder what's happening in there. I heard Alyn groaned in frustration saying "Shit!"
I knocked his door "Alyn? Is everything alright? I'm coming in" I quickly opened the door and rushed inside
Inside was Alyn kneeling on front of a broken flowerpot. As he saw me, he jumped in surprise "Hey! What're you-" he said
Then he looks towards me and the broken flowerpot back and forth
"I-it's not what it looks like!" he waved his hands "I was just doing some pruning to the plant and the pot just fell and broke! I swear I did not really care about the flower!" he tried explain but I can sense he's lying
"I didn't say anything" I said to him, raising an eyebrow "what's pruning?"
His face turns into a serious expression "it's what you do to the plants in order to grow them properly" he replied
"Oh?" I reacted stupidly
Then I recalled to the day I caught him plucking out some of the flowers from their stems, I'm pretty sure that's what he meant by pruning
"So you were pruning that day when you plucked that flower, huh?" I said with a low voice
"Yeah..." he replied then looks away from me "What do you want, by the way?" he asked as he looks at me
Yeah...I almost forgot. I handed him his towel and cleared my throat "Ah-hem" then I'm about to say my thanksgiving "Thank you for carrying me all the way to the clinic" I said, I don't know why it just suddenly came out that way "and for saving me the other day"
Then he cuts me off "I already told you. I didn't do it to save-"
"No, not that time" I said as I gestured my hand to him to stop, shut up and listen.
He gave me a look of confusion "what do you mean?" he asked innocently. He didn't remember?
"That they when you-" I tried to explain but I thought of another way to explain this whole thing to him "Wait a moment" I said then ran inside my bedroom and grabbed his jacket from my closet then came back inside his room and handed the jacket to him
His eyes were widened when he looks at the jacket
"These were my-" he said
"Thank you for saving me from those bullies that day. I'm really sorry that I was not able to thank you because you suddenly disappeared but I really appreciate it. Don't worry about your jacket, I got it cleaned from the cleaners right after I reached home" I said, keeping a straight face and look at him.
Then I excused myself as I go back to my room.
I let out a deep sigh as I reached. My hands and legs were trembling as I shut the door. Why am I so nervous? I placed my palm on my chest, my heart is beating so fast. I don't know why but I shake my head to focus and just lay down.
I flop down on my bed and suddenly I felt tired again even though I already slept at the clinic. I noticed that there was no loud music playing right now. Time check: 10:30pm.
"It's weird to see Alyn take care of a plant. Does the other boys knew about this? Probably not. It's best just to keep my mouth shut"
I waited for a few minutes if the music is gonna burst out any moment
"Great. This is the first peaceful night I had in such a long time since I came to this house" I whispered to myself then I shut my eyes. Goodnight.
