Chapter 29: Schedule, Problems

Anna's POV:

Thank God! Our tests ended earlier than before. I guess I'll have to study in advance in case I get tired after the party....

I opened my locker to get my books then a few fellow classmates runs up to me

"Anna! Can we have your moment please?" they asked as they were catching their breaths

"Sure, what is it?" I replied happily

"Can you edit our powerpoint for the presentation? It's tomorrow morning and we can't finish this thing cuz we have urgent business to attend" they begged "and...can you clean the classroom for us?"

"Uhh..." I stepped back, not sure how will I respond to them. Maybe I should help them....

"Sure--"

"She doesn't want to help" A voice interrupts us from the back

"Alyn?!" the two men shouted then their jaw drops

My eyes were widened as I see him, leaning from the wall but his head is down

"She has other important things to deal with" he looks chillingly at the two men "Don't depend on someone else because in the end, you will end up killing yourself because you have nobody to fix your own problems"

He gave them a sharp glare then the two ran away from us

He's right

Alyn turns to me then smirks. I gave him a sharp look as he leaves the hallway

Anna's POV:

Few hours later....

Grrr! I even skipped dinner because of studying! I smack my cheek.

"Why does Wiyetskie have to be so sensitive when someone doesn't show up for her parties!" I groaned loudly

"Maybe I should tell her that I couldn't come today...No way! She won't forgive me for it" I recall the time when Liana and I didn't showed up from her party

(Flashback)

"Lia, I couldn't come! My dad wants me to go home early ASAP" I said to the phone

"Me too! My mom wants me to help her clean the house for our guest" She panicked

The next morning...

"Hey, do you think she'll lose her mind if she sees us?" Lia whispered to me

"We'll just explain to her what happened" I replied

Right after I said that, we saw Wiyetskie turns her head to us then stomps her foot as she approach us

"Wiyetskie...I can explain" I said to her

"BOTH OF YOU DIDN'T COME TO MY POOL PARTY YESTERDAY! I WAS EXPECTING THE WHOLE NIGHT THAT YOU'D COME!" she yelled at us annoyingly then grits her teeth

"We already texted an apology to you last night" Lia responded "Our parents wouldn't allow us"

"EXCUSES, EXCUSES, EXCUSES!" she shouted as she stomps her right foot then clenches her fists

Lia took a step back away from her then hids her face behind me

"Anyway...you guys already know the consequences if you didn't show up at my party?" she flutters her eyelids then gave us a sweet smile

Both of us nodded as our expression changed with horror

"You'll have to polish my toenails and massage my feet"

Ugh...that ugly toe of hers... She may have a beautiful face, but has ugly feet.

Back to reality!

I cringed as I imagined myself massaging her foot for the whole week

I shook my head then focus myself on studying.

"Let's see...um...after Music test, there's Science then last, Math" I said as I spinned my pen

Then I glanced at my wall clock

Time check: 11:49pm

Holy crap! It's passed bedtime! And I'm not halfway done studying the last 3 subjects.

"I guess I'll just sleep" I yawned "I'll continue to study before class starts"

I went to my bed and closed my eyes

Meanwhile, outside her room, Alyn was listening to her sayings the whole time. He smirks then says "Glad I changed the time settings from her clock. It's only 9:49pm"
