N's POV:
"President, what happened? You sure about letting them go?" aksed by one of the student council officers, Damian
"Yes, we'll just let them go this time" Victor replied as he observes the two heading to the exit
"Prez, were you dissatisfied? You seemed quiet" Damian continued to ask
"I'm not sure. I need to think for a moment" he replied as he sips the wine, "Alyn Scottfield..." he murmured
"Did you say something, Prez?"
"Damian, can you look up for Alyn Scottfield's information?" he puts down his glass
"I know a little information about him, Vic. Why? What's wrong? You have a very problematic look on your face" he started to worry a little bit, "Vic, you can tell me. We're close since we were kids. Friends tell each others' secrets"
"I'll tell you what I was thinking after you tell me something you know about Alyn Scottfield" he replied
Damian paused for a second. The two looked at each other, trying to read one's mind to another.
"He's a former deliquent. The most powerful one in this city" he finally replied, "He fought with many gangs before, including the ones that don't live in this city. He's the son of the mayor but he rebelled or shall we say, he got disowned by his father for being such a disrespectful son. That's all I know"
"Dame, I trust you on this. You promise not to tell anyone, okay?" his eyes widened and a grinned appeared across his face, "I think we found him."
"Who?"
"I'll explain it but before that, did you took my mints?"
Anna's POV:
We went back home. We tried to walk as less awkward as possible. I know that he said I should forget everything that happened but how can I forget? That was the most unbelievable thing that I could imagine happening to me in real life.
We didn't talk ever since we finished changing. I sneak a little glance at him, too bad he's not looking at me.
He looked sad for a second. I doubt that it's about earlier. He really looked sad. I blew a breath to my hands as I thought about it.
"You cold?" he finally speaks
"Kind of" I giggled a little, "Why? Are you lending me your jacket again?"
"I could if you want to" he replied
"As long as it's not wet or its from WCA" I rolled my eyes
It's weird walking around with him and with that uniform he stole from the laundry room. He could really fit and blend in with those Cambridge students if it weren't for his attitude.
"Now you're being choosy" he moves his head closer to me, then he throws the jacket at my face
"H-Hey!" I furrowed my brows at him, "I'm not wearing what's stolen"
"You got no choice. Wear it or you'll freeze to death" he insisted
"Fine" I said as we reached to the street I'm familiar with. It's the street where I always walk after school.
"This is scary" I sighed and let out a small laugh
"If you're thinking that you're worried and too scared to face the boys, don't be" he mentioned
"Can you stop reading my mind, Scottfield?" I said
"I was just guessing, Lautner" he added
"I'm just worried that they might feel I betrayed them. I made them think that I was actually going to accept the offer" I kicked the leaf in front of me and smiled, "I thought they'd be okay if I leave. It'll be awkward if I stepped inside the house"
