My dad was the producer for a record label named 'King of Melody's'. Out of nowhere, one of his artists had a problem on tour. This meant that he would have to fly to where they were and try to fix it. This also meant that he would be gone for a week or two. Since I knew the business inside and out, he put me in charge of his label. I was only 18 but I was majoring in music so this would help me gain a lot of experience besides the  my dad being who he is. It was now the second day of being the boss. Today was also the day that Why Don't We would see if they would like to sign with the label. This was the last meeting of the day. After a bunch of other meetings, it was finally time for the boys. I sat down and waited for them in the boardroom. Once they walked in and sat down I began.

"Hello! I am Y/n and I am Mr. Y/l/n's daughter. He is not here right now but he has left me in charge so are we ready to begin?" I say politely.

They all nod and begin our meeting. After introducing themselves, I explain their contract and rules of it.

*Time skip*

After an hour of meeting, the boys have agreed to sign the contract. I stood up and shook their hands. I shook Jonah's last.

"Hey were going out to lunch, would you like to come?" Jonah asks.

"Sure!" I gratefully accept.

He smiles and walks toward the boys. He whispers something to them that I assume is him just letting them know I was tagging along.

"I'll follow you guys there," I tell them.

"Can I come with you? The van doesn't have a lot of room from fan mail," Jonah explained.

"Sure!" I say trying to be polite.

I see Jack smirk at him and Jonah rolling his eyes. I giggled to myself and get into the car while Jonah got in the passenger side. I started to drive behind the boys and Jonah decided to start a conversation.

"So your dad left you in charge?" He asked.

"Well I've known the business since I was at least 6 and he trusts me the most so yeah!" I explain.

"That's good that you have that bond together," Jonah replies.

"Well my mom left us when I was only 2 so me and him have always been close," I explain.

"Oh I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought it up," he says with his head in his hands.

"Jonah it's fine! I brought her up anyways," I reassure.

"I just feel bad."

"I'm not upset it's fine!" I try to convince him.

"Well changing the topic, is that what you want to do?" Jonah asks.

"Yes! I absolutely love to sing and I'm working on a few songs right now," I tell him.

"Sing something," Jonah says.

"Okay fine!" I give.

I start to sing 'Bad Liar' by Selena Gomez. Once I finish, Jonah just stares at me.

"That was amazing!" He compliments.

"Well thank you," I say with a big grin.

"You're cute when you smile," Jonah blurts out.

I blush a little and I see that Jonah looks a little embarrassed.

"I'm really sorry," He apologizes clearly embarrassed.

"Why? A girl loves to be called cute from a not so bad guy," I say back.

"Well if I'm not so bad than can I have your number?" He asks.

"Real smooth!" I say with a giggle.

"But sure," I add while handing him my phone.
