I sat in the bed of my dad's truck in front of my new house in Texas. We moved in today and although I wasn't happy about moving the stars are pretty amazing. I sketched the brilliant shining stars along with the vibrant moon as my legs dangled out of the truck. I hummed to 'Billionaire' by Travie McCoy ft.Bruno Mars . My speaker wasn't to loud seeing at it was about 11:00 pm.

"That's a great drawing," Someone compliments making me jump.

I look to my left and see a teenage boy with adorable brown eyes and pikachu cheeks.

"Um, thanks," I reply.

"Sorry to scare you, I'm Zach," Zach says extending his arm.

I grab his hand and shake it while saying: "I'm Y/n."

"You just moved in right?" Zach questions.

"Um, yeah. We used to live in Pennsylvania but my dad got a job offer here so here I am!" I tell him.

"Mind if I sit?"

"Not at all," I say schooching over.

Zach joins me and we get to know each other. It was all going great until Jack,my older brother came outside.

"Oh god," I whisper.

"What?" Zach asks.

"Oh um-"

"Who's this Y/n?" My brother questions.

"This is Zach our neighbor. Zach, this is my older brother Jack," I introduce.

Thye shake hands and Zach is very polite.

"So what are you kids doing out here at 11:52 pm?" Jack asks.

"Jack stop. We were just talking, you don't have to be and overprotective dickhead like always," I tell him.

"Watch your mouth! And you are my little sister so get used to it," Jack retorts.

"Jack stop bothering them! Let her make friends!" Mom yells from the door.

I face palm due to the amount of embarrassment I feel. I hear Jack leave which I am grateful for.

"I'm sorry he's just a jerk sometimes," I apologise.

"It's okay that was ...um..." Zach starts.

"You can laugh, it's okay," I tell him.

He lets all of his laughter out and I join in too.

"Well it's getting late, I'm gonna head inside but I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Definitely! You can meet my crazy family," Zach jokes.

I chuckle and we go our separate ways.

5 years later:

That night was the start of a great friendship that expanded into a loving relationship. I was currently sitting in Zach and his bands house in L.A. After that night, me and Zach became close friends and him and my brother did as well. They started singing together and mat three oher amazing singers and formed their band called Why Don't We. I'm only here for a visit so me and Zach were spending as much time as we could together before I went home. We were just cuddling in his room and talking about the future which is something I loved to do.

"You should move in," Zach sincerely states.

"What?" I ask with a chuckle.

"Come on Y/n! were 20 now and I'm moving out since we just got the okay from our managers and I want you to come with me. Every time you visit you talk about how much you love it here so why not?" Zach explains.

I sit up and Zach mocks my position.

"Zach I don't have any income right now. How would I help pay bills and rent? I can't let you-" I start.

"Then get a job. You just finished a semester and you could just transfer colleges. LA has great schools. You'd be close to Jack and wouldn't have to fly here and spend a bunch of  money. There is no reason you can't move in. "

I sit there and think about everything. My parents would be okay with it and they've mentioned it multiple times so I'd stop complaining about being so far away from Zach and Jack. They've already agreed to pay for college wherever I want to go so that checks out. I could always get a job here and help pay bills and rent. But most importantly I'd be close to my two favorite people in the world.

"Alright. I'll move to LA," I say with a big grin.

Zach's face lights up and he hugs me tight.

"But, you have to let me choose the furniture," I say.

Zach laughs and nods and we cuddle and discuss our apartment for the rest of the day.
