I fell and well..he caught me. That was how my crazy life began really. Of course back then, we didn't know that we'd get married, have three beautiful, confident daughters and one handsome, intelligent son but that's just where it starts!
I grabbed my coat, hat, scarf, phone, and keys then my ice skates. I walked the 4 blocks to the ice skating rink and bought a wristband. I gave the man a $20 and went to put on my white skates. After I was done, I made my way to the ice. I started off by holding on to the wall and tried to wean off...big mistake. I let go of the wall and started to skate off. Out of nowhere , there was a bump in the ice. I fell backwards and was expecting the worst but instead, I was caught. I looked up and saw the two most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. The boy pushed me up and gave me a sweet smile.
"Hi!" He said.
"Hello! Thanks for saving me, I'm Y/n," I greeted.
"Well Y/n I am Daniel," Daniel informs me.
"Would you like to skate with me?" He asks.
"You don't have to, I'll be okay!"
"And give you the possibility of falling? Nope! I'll skate next to you and if you think you'll fall, hold my hand!"
"Being as i met you 2 minutes ago, I'll pass!"
"Fair. So Y/n why are you skating?"
"My grandma bought me them for Christmas so I didn't want them to be wasted and also me being lonely, had no plans today so..."
"How can beautiful girl as yourself be lonely?" Daniel questions.
"My friend Brighid is on a date, Olivia is seeing her brother, Skylar is at swim, and the rest of them are all busy too," I answer.
"All my friends are busy too and that's why I'm here too," Daniel admits.
"Hey I am kind of wobbly, is that hand still available?" I ask mentally facepalming.
"Of course!" Daniel verifies while intertwining our fingers.

After awhile of skating, Daniel and I went to eat lunch. We laughed and found out that we were basically the same person! I'm not gonna lie but as cliche as it sounds, I felt like it was love at first sight. I liked him, ALOT and I was falling fast and hard! We finished lunch and were just walking around.
"Y/n I would love to walk and talk some more but I have to go," Daniel says disappointed.
"Boo! But go have fun and I'll see you around?" I ask.
"Can I have your number than?"
I nod and hand him my phone. He types his number and hands me his phone to do the same.
"I'll see you around Y/n!"
"Bye!" I say and walk towards home but not before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
