I was heading to the Stanford/Avery's to baby-sit their daughter Isla. I was very excited when they asked me since I've babysat for her a few times before and loved her to pieces. I turn down there street and grabbed my purse before getting out of the car. When I started walking up their driveway, the door shot open, and Isla ran straight into me hugging me tightly.
"Y/n!" She said while hugging me.
"Hey princess!" I say while returning the hug.
She takes my hand in her tiny one and drags me inside the house. She then proceeds to drag me upstairs into a room.
"This is my brother Jack and he will be here since he doesn't have friends so don't get scared if you see him!" Isla warns me.
"Wow Isla you're so nice!" Jack says sarcastically.
"Well actually Isla we know each other from school," I inform her.
"Oh! Well cool but can you do my make-up?" Isla pleads.
"Okay but only lip gloss and eyeshadow," I comprimise.
"Yay!" She cheers.
She then drags me to her room so I can do her makeup before her mom walks in.
"Hey girls! I'm leaving so I'll see you later!" Mrs.Stanford says.
"Have a great time!" I say.
Isla says her goodbyes and I continue to do her makeup. After about 10 minutes, I finnish.
"All done princess!" I tell her.
"Yay! Can we talk now?" Isla asks.
"Sure pretty girl!" I say.
"So do you have a boyfriend?" she asks.
"Not at the moment," I answer truthfully.
"I thought prom was coming up though!"
"It is but I might not go."
"You have to go! You told me that you bought a pretty dress already!"
"Well if I get asked I'll go but if not, you can save my dress and wear it." .
"I don't want it because you have to go to prom Y/n!" Isla orders me.
"I'll go if it means that much to you princess," I lie.
"Good!" She says.
*Timeskip*
Isla is now in bed and I am just watching T.V when Jack comes downstairs.
"Mind if I join?" He asks.
"Well being that it's your house sure!" I laugh.
He sits next to me and watches the show.
"So I heard what Isla asked about prom..." He says.
"Oh," I say not understanding why he brought it up.
"I can take you if you want! I mean just so you can have a good time," Jack offers.
"You realize every girl in school wants to go with you right?"
"Yeah well I don't like any of the girls and I think I can put up with you for a night!" He says making you laugh.
"Well then Mr.Avery, you have a deal!" I accept.
His face lights up, "Great!"
I giggle we then talk and continue to watch the rest of the show. After a while, his parents come home. They give me a tip, even though I deny it, and I go home. Somehow Jack snuck his number into my phone and texts me.

Avery-Well maybe you want to go on a date?
Me-Well maybe you can text me the details
Avery-So yes?
Me-Sure! But text me the details tomorrow cause I'm going to bed so gn
