I sat at my best friend's house and fiddled with my hands as s/he greeted her viewers on YouTube. I waved to the camera when s/he explained who I was and we began soon began the game called 'Hat of Dares.'

I mixed up the folded pieces of paper before picking one.

"It says: Drink a spoon full of hot sauce," I read aloud.

Bff/n laughs before running to the kitchen and bringing back the spoon. I glare at the camera, knowing the viewers picked the dares, and put the spoon in my mouth. My eyes began to water so I ran to the kitchen and chugged milk as Bff/n filmed and laughed at me.

---

"Okay, last dare for you Y/n," s/he evilly grinned.

"The last two are really extreme, right?" I ask.

"Yup, so you get a bad one and I do too. You get to pick first," s/he smiled.

I reached my hand in , grabbed a paper, and unfolded it. I cleared my voice before reading.

"Do the hickey prank on your spouse..." I trailed off.

I looked at Bff/n to see him/her giving me wide eyes.

"Jonah will murder me! I can't," I exclaim.

Bff/n shrugged before opening their dare.

"If it makes you feel any better I have to tell mine I am pregnant/got a girl pregnant," s/he grumbles.

I smile but then frown when I remember how protective and jealous Jonah is.

---

Bff/n set up the cameras and left so I could put on makeup that looked like a hickey. My nerves skyrocketed when the door opened. I hid my makeup bag and ran to my bedroom.

"Y/n? I'm home!" Jonah shouted.

"Upstairs," I yelled back.

Jonah appeared in the door frame within seconds. He tackled me into a hug and gave me a quick kiss before sitting next to me.

"I have a surprise for you," he smiled before showing me the bag he had behind his back.

"Ooh what is it?" I smiled.

"Here, open i---" Jonah starts before his face drops.

"What is that?" Jonah asks while pointing at the fake hickey.

"What is what?" I dumbly smile.

"That." Jonah firmly points again.

I give him a confused look and go to the mirror. I examine the hickey and furrow my eyebrows in confusion.

"Oh it's just from my straightener," I lie.

"No it isn't. I'm not stupid Y/n," Jonah states with anger laced in his voice.

"Baby, it's a burn," I smile while ruffling his hair.

"Where the hell did it come from?" Jonah demands while looking me straight in the eye.

"J, babe, baby, it is a burn. I was going to straightening my hair earlier but it was frizzy so I showered."

"We have been together for 2 years. 2 years I have done nothing but been faithful, honest, and loving towards you and you can't give me the same in return? I really thought you were it for me. I was going to marry you someday and we'd buy a house together and start a family but no. I guess I was-"

"Jonah it's a-"

"It's not a burn! It's a fucking hickey!" Jonah exclaims while standing up.

"No I was going to say it's a-"

"What? What is it a rash or a bug bite now? I really don't want to hear more excuses. You've broke my heart and I really would rather just know one thing. Was it worth it?"

"It's a prank! I didn't want it to get this far but you can't let me finish a sentence! It's a prank!" I yell.

I run to grab makeup wipes. I come back and wipe it off, showing Jonah the makeup on the wipe.

"I am so so sorry, it was for B/ff/n's YouTube channel and we were doing hat of dares and I picked this dare so there are cameras all around and-" I start to ramble.

"Oh I know. You two really aren't good at hiding cameras," Jonah smirks.

My face drops in shock.

"So--wait I just--You knew the entire time?" I ask.

Jonah smiles and nods his head causing me to slap his chest.

"I was about to have a fucking panic attack you jerk!" I yell.

"I'm the jerk? You were the one pranking me," Jonah defends while crossing his arms.

I roll my eyes and go around the room turning off the cameras. I throw them on the bed before going over to Jonah and giving him a big hug.

"You made me feel so guilty," I mumble into his chest.

"I'm sorry princess," Jonah whispers.

I pull away and smile at him.

"What was my present?" I ask.

"There's food in that bag," Jonah smiles while I grab the container box.
