Wherever I went, my terrible reputation followed.  Everyone was disgusted by me and my family thanks to my father. He was known for being a gang leader and  I was believed to have followed his footsteps.

But out of all the people in my little town, one person believed in me. Jack Avery, and his amazing family, know that my dad just gives my family money before leaving to god knows where.

I walked the six blocks to the Avery's to meet up with Jack. I knocked on the door and heard rushing footsteps towards it. A very smiley Jack opened the door and greeted me with a hug.

"Hey baby," I smiled.

"Hello gorgeous!" Jack exclaimed.

"Do you wanna walk to the park?" I asked him.

Jack nodded before grabbing my hand and leading me towards the park. As we walked, Jack could tell how uncomfortable I was from others' dirty looks. He squeezed my hand and shot me a smile before continuing to walk.

We had almost made it to the park when I disconnected our hands and walked side by side with him.

"What's wrong?" Jack questions with confusion evident in his voice.

"I just don't want you to be, ya know, given the same treatment" I explain.

Jack grabbed my hand and pulled me into his side with a smile.

"I'd take dirty looks for the rest of my life, as long as I could be with you. You know I wouldn't walk away even if I could, because it took one night, one try and damn...I'm hooked," Jack laughed.

I grinned at my soulmate before kissing his cheek. We went to the park and played around until it got dark. I decided to sleep over the Avery's that night and cuddled with Jack.

---

I woke up refreshed and took a quick shower. I proceeded to get ready and walk to Jack's house. I knocked on the door and Isla answered. We talked for a little until I decided to go find Jack.

I opened the door to reveal a sulking Jack. My smiled turned into a frown and I carefully sat next to him.

"Hi," I greeted before slowly grabbing his hand.

"Hey," Jack slightly smiled.

"Ya know that whatever makes you sad doesn't deserve your energy to be sad. You're an amazing person and you definitely need to show that gorgeous smile to the world...or just me," I laugh.

Jack's head springs up and he shows his heart melting smile.

"There you go!" I coach.

"You are always there when I was low, you held me high," Jack admits.

After more talking and cuddling, we decided to go out. Note the fact that I hate being in public. I also hated going to popular places that people my age went to. It made me insecure which made me very snippy with Jack.

Me and Jack arrived and everything was perfect we partied for hours, Jack feeding off of my energy. Jack was very lazy but whenever I took control of the situation, his energy raised and we could go all night

I had left Jack on the dancefloor to get a drink. I turned around to be cornered by three girls.

"And why are you here?" Mia, the leader of the trio, interrogated.

"Because it's a party on a Saturday night," I say while uncomfortably shifting.

"Well 'gangstas' like you don't belong here. Your kind is not welcome here," Gwen spits.

"I'd be careful Gwen, she may get her daddy to come shoot us," Olivia chuckles before they all walk away.

I march up to Jack and poke my finger at his chest.

"Why would you bring me here?! You know how people treat me and how I hate but yet you still took me here!" I explode.

Jack stands there speechlessly as I leave to the front porch and silently sob on the steps. Jack soon comes out and comforts me.

"I'm sorry I just thought we'd have fun," Jack whispers after calming me.

"No it's my fault. I was having fun and I should've stayed with you," I reassure.

"But I knew-" Jack starts.

"No, it's my fault and I'm sorry," I conclude.

"I'll be honest Y/n, everybody says I'm sleeping with the enemy but I wouldn't even care if you're gonna be the death of me. You of course know that you got a bad reputation in my neighborhood but you...you drive me mad with temptation 'cause it tastes so good. You know I wouldn't walk away, even if I could and it took one night, one try, and damn, I'm hooked," Jack blurts out while chuckling at the end.

"I love you noodle head," I grin.

Jack walks me home before going home himself, both of us falling asleep with big smiles.

Jack came over my house afew day after. The problem was the my mom and brothers didn't know about Jack and I. I would tease Jack and then push him away making him jokingly mad.

We sat on the couch watching Tv while my mom cooked and my brothers went out to flirt. I laced Jack and I's fingers together. He smiled at my action I slowly leaned in. Jack followed suit but I quickly pushed him away. He rolled his eyes at me and scooched away.

"I know that I shouldn't touch but you twist my heart 'cause I can never get enough once the feeling starts. It's like...it's like I'm the gasoline and your kiss is the spark, but you take the wheel and crash my car!" Jack exclaims.

"I know I'm such a tease," I chuckle.

"You got me under your influence, I swear I'm never gonna give you up," Jack cheesily smiles.

"You're so cheesy!" I exclaim.

I gasp and look at a confused Jack.

"I bought like 10 dresses yesterday! FASHION SHOW!"

I drag Jack upstairs to my room and go to get changed in my walk-in closet. I come out in:

"What do you think?" I ask Jack while adjusting it
