"Hi Isaac! I'm your dad," Zach greeted our son.
---
I looked across the table with wide eyes and saw Isaac smiling at his dad.
"How do I know?" Isaac questioned him.
"What's your full name?" Zach smiled.
"Isaac Michael Herron," Isaac simply answered.
"My name is Zachary Dean Herron," Zach shares.
"You are my dad!" Isaac explains after gasping.
Zach shoots me a smile and then continues to get to know his son. Isaac was the happiest I've ever seen which of course made my heart melt. When Isaac finished his food however, he wanted to go back out.
"Go wash your hands and the we'll go out," I tell him.
Zach and I both watch as he walks to the bathroom before turning to each other.
"How the hell could you not tell me I had a son?" Zach demands.
"You had already broke up with me and I didn't, at the time, see the need to tell you. And also we had just broken up so why would you believe me?" I explain.
"Well now that I know I'm not leaving. He's my son too and i will be there until I die," Zach promised.
"Okay, and Zach I'm sorry."
"As much as I hate what you did, I get it and you've done a great job. Thank you for taking care of my son."
Before I can respond Isaac comes out of the bathroom. He grabs Zach's hand, drags him to my side, and the grabs my hand before leading us to the next ride.
---
Zach walked to the car with me while carrying Isaac over his shoulder. Once we found my car Zach carefully put Isaac in and quietly shut the door.
"So how is this going to work?" I ask.
"Well for now I could come visit? Eventually i guess he can come stay at my place," Zach says more as a question than a statement.
"Why were you even here today?"
"I had a ticket and nobody else could go so I came by myself."
I giggled at his loneliness. We talk for a bit more and trade numbers before going our separate ways.

4 Years Later:
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Isaac, happy birthday to you!" Me, Zach, Jade, and the boys sung to the, now, ten-year-old boy.
"Happy birtday to-" Jade starts.
"No baby were done," I explain to my 2 year old daughter.
Isaac chuckles before blowing out all ten of his candles. We all cheer and clap for him. I cut up the cake as Isaac shows Jade and his uncles his new toys. Just as I finished cutting the last piece, Zach's arms snake around me.
"We should just eat the cake later while watching Netflix," Zach jokes.
"Isaac will kill us," I laugh.
"And Jade will help!" Zach exclaims making me giggle.
I turn around and we both hug while swaying from side to side.
"I love our family," I comment before kissing Zach.
"ARE YOU TWO SERIOUSLY KISSING IN FRONT OF THE CHILDREN!" Daniel yells.
