"You know that this is my wife you are flirting with?" Alec said and made everyone fall quiet.

You weren't sure where to look because you literally could feel the gazes of Jace and Simon on you, after they had looked at each other confused. Alec and you hadn't told anybody that you even were a couple, so hearing that you were married must have come as an even bigger shock.

So all you could do was trying to get invisible while the silence grew awkward.
