Alec, Izzy, Jace and Clary were all in one of the older rooms of the institute, their parents had said that they would have to clean out one of the rooms for her to stay in and for some reason had chosen your old room, there was only one problem with that and that was that you had died and Alec had been making sure that nothing in your room was moved because he wanted to keep you alive. His parents, however, wanted him to clean our the room because they wanted him to be able to move on and hopefully doing this would help.

Clary was sorting through some of the things in the drawers and she found an old photo of the group but there was one person that she hadn't seen around "Hey who's this?" Clary asked holding the picture out to the three of them, Jace and Izzy looked at each other but before they could say anything Alec took the picture from her hand.
"That was the day that we all completed our first training session together." Alec smiled softly.
"You mean the day that you almost had your ass handed to you?" Jace asked smirking and Alec punched him playfully.
"You didn't do much better," Alec argued as he looked at you again. "He was always better."
"Could have rivalled me," Jace admitted and Alec nodded.
"Who is he?" Clary asked again.
"That's (Y/N), he was part of the team." Izzy finally answered.
"What happened did he get transferred?" Clary asked nad Izzy shook her head, the room seemed to change and everything seemed darker.
"He died." Alec finally said. "He died protecting me."
"Alec it wasn't your fault." Jace tried to say to him.
"If I was doing what I should have been if I just listened... It doesn't matter we can't change it now." He answered quickly before putting the picture down and beginning to carry some of the stuff out.
