It Hurts

   One day they train together but reader gets angry so they start hurting each other physically. Later that night, the reader is at roof standing right at edge, crying, she nearly slips and Alec saves her but she slaps him and runs away from him. Next day when Alec sees the reader he runs up to her and kisses her in front of the whole institute as he loves her. Thanks to lydia, 

     You and Alec had been fighting a lot recently. They weren't just little fights either, they were full on and scary to watch or even hear. You would both sit there screaming in each others faces. The stress of everything was really taking a toll on your relationship. Especially after the whole Lydia incident. "Just shut up!" He yelled. "Me, why? You're the one who started this damn fight! If it weren't for you barging in here and screaming at me like an idiot we wouldn't be doing this!" You yelled. Suddenly your cheek was stinging. As you let what had just happened register in your head you brought your hand to your cheek. Alec had just slapped you. You manage to hold on strong, walking out of the room without letting a single tear drop

 The hurt and betrayal you felt was definitely showing in your face though. You slowly made your way up to the open garden on the rooftop. You laid down and looked up at the stars, thinking about your relationship. You silently crept your way over to the edge of the rooftop, and sat down. Dangling your legs over the edge. You had no bad intentions, it's just that the view of all the city lights were great from here, and heights didn't bother you. It helped you to clear your mind. After several minutes of enjoying the view and smiling, you heard the door you came out of open. You stayed silent.

 "Y/N?" You heard Alec say. You went to get up and walk away, and you suddenly felt a pair of strong arms around you, pulling you up and far from the edge.

 "Are you fucking crazy?" Alec yelled.

 "What the hell are you doing?" He added.

 "I wasn't going to jump! I was just looking at the lights" you yelled at him.

 "Don't put yourself in danger like that! You're so stupid!" He yelled back. 

Again with the name calling. You brought your hand up and smacked him across the face. Even in the dark you could see his skin was turning red. He shook his head and cracked his jaw.

 "Hurts doesn't it?" You said before turning around and walking out.

 You spent the night in your old room, the room you had before you and Alec began sharing one. Nothing remained but a bed and the basic furniture that was in every bedroom of the institute. Your night was bad. You couldn't fall asleep until very late, and when you finally did horrible nightmares kept waking you up. It was times like this when you needed Alec, times when you were hurting. The next morning you woke up to sunlight shining through the curtains. You slowly got out of bed and stretched. 

After several minutes of thinking about it, you decided to go to your room to get a change of clothes. Hopefully Alec wouldn't be there. You slowly moped down the hallway to your room, then pressed your ear to the door to listen. You could hear the faint noise of the shower running. 'thank god, he's in the shower' you thought to yourself as you opened the door. You quickly grabbed a change of clothes, your hairbrush, and a spare toothbrush before running back out. You went back to the old room and got dressed for the day before making your way down to the main working room in the institute. Everyone was busy working away. You looked around to find Jace, and walked his way when you found him. 

"Hey" you say.

 "Hey, do you know what's been up with Alec? He's been acting really weird since last night." He asked you.

 "We got in a fight" you said. "Really? About what?" He asked. "It's complicated, I'd rather not talk about it or be around him right now" you admitted.

 "Speaking of the devil" Jace says as he looks behind you. 

You turned around and saw Alec walking towards you. You quickly turned and began to walk away, but he caught your wrist.

 "Y/N wait" he said.

 You turned around to face him, but you didn't dare look him in the eyes.

 "Alec let me go" you muttered

. "Please" he said. 

You looked up at him and his eyes were red, it almost looked as if he had been shedding tears. You shook your head, not wanting to deal with him. Suddenly he dove down and pressed his lips to yours. You were shocked, but your craving for his touch got the best of you, and you began kissing him back. His kiss was soft and passionate, it was like an apology in the weirdest of ways. He brought one of his hands up to gently caress your cheek, and used to other on your waist to pull you closer. You set both your hands on the back of his neck, gently rubbing as you kissed him. You both seemed to forget that everyone else was there, that was until you felt everyone's eyes on you. You slowly pulled away, hiding your face in his chest.

 "I'm sorry Y/N, I love you so much" he whispered.

 "I love you too Alexander" you whispered back hugging him.
