Y/N's POV: I woke up in bed with Finn's arm wrapped around my stomach. My makeup was all smudged from all the crying I did last night. I slipped out of bed trying not to wake Finn. He was hungover so he didn't wake up. I went to the bathroom and just stared at myself in the mirror. Looking at my inner self. Still trying to process everything that happened last night. I wiped off my makeup and brushed my teeth. I decided to go downstairs and clean up. Finn cleaned up all the mess in the basement so I was just cleaning up the living room and kitchen. Hannah came downstairs. She looked like a complete wreck. "Hannah, I'm so sorry" I said. She started crying and leaned in for a hug. I hugged her for so long. I let my shoulder be hers to cry on. I could fell her tears running down my back. I wanted to cry again. I shouldn't have had this party.
Hannah and I had finished cleaning up the house. By now everyone had come downstairs. I guess everyone was still trying to recover from yesterday since everyone was really quiet. Jessica looked the worst of all. She looked like she hadn't slept, hadn't eaten. I was scared her anxiety and depression was going to come back. "I think we should get home guys" Millie insists. the rest of them all agreed. Jaeden, Wyatt, Lucas, Millie, Sadie and Sophia all went home. Finn stayed to look after us.
"We have to do something about this" Hannah said. "What like, tell the police?" "They would know we all drank and had a party" Jessica said. "You cannot let him get away with this" Finn exclaimed. "Our parents would know, Hannah, your mom would probably never let you come back again" I said. "Something really bad happened to Jessica and making Jack pay for what he did and having Jessica be happy means way more to me" Hannah yells. "So we tell the police?" Finn asks. "How about start by telling our moms first" Jessica asks. I called my mom. I was shaking and I had all these emotions. I was scared.
"Hey sweetie, how are you" "Hey m-mom" I stuttered. She could hear me starting to breathe very heavily. "Honey, what's going on?" And just then, I broke out into tears. "Mom, we need you to come home, something really bad happened to Jessica and we need you home now" Jessica started crying. "Ok-okay baby, we're going to book the next flight out I promise, we're coming home don't worry okay" "Okay mom. Please just come soon" "I will honey" I hung up the phone. Hannah takes Jessica upstairs as they both start to cry and I sat down on the couch crying as well. Finn put his arm around me as I layer my head on his shoulder again. "Everything going to be fine, Jack is going to get what he deserves" Finn said. I calmed down my crying a bit. "I said no" Finn said. "No?" "To the movie" "Finn, why?" "I couldn't leave you. As soon as you fell asleep yesterday, i started crying. The thought of being so far away from you, i couldn't even think about it. I need to be here with you. I want to" he exclaims. "I-I love you" "I love you more Y/N"
A few hours have passed by. I told Finn to leave so that when my mom gets home, she doesn't see Finn while we have to talk about this . I hear the door open and 2 females talking. It's my mom and Hannah's. They ran upstairs to Jessica's room so see us all in there comforting Jessica. "What happened guys?" she asked. I explained everything to her. "YOU WERE DRINKING? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?" She yelled. "Mom, it's not the time to be lecturing us. We all know what we did was wrong okay, we've established that. But we need help now" I said. "Okay, we have to call 911, this Jack boy needs to charged, your mom and I will go call right now" said Hannah's mom.
We all drove down to the local police station and told them everything. They asked us a bunch of questions about the night and about Jack. It was really hard for Jessica to talk about Jack. She had to show the hand prints and bruises. She was crying so much. My heart felt like it was going to crack.
"So you are pressing charges correct?" The police officer asked. "Of course we are" my mom said. "Okay we'll need you to fill out these papers...." the police officer was still speaking. Jessica had mixed emotions as well. She didn't know whether to be happy or still remain in silence. She chose silence because she hadn't said anything the whole ride back home.
"Hannah we're leaving tonight back home, you know that right" Hannah's mom said. I completely forgot Hannah had to go back tomorrow. My mind was blank. "Oh yeah, when we get home I'll start packing" she responded as she looked at me. "Another police officer is going to come over tonight to talk to Jessica, Y/N I don't want you at home for this okay? Could you stay at a friends house?" She asked. "But I need to be there, for Jessica." I said. "I'll be fine Y/N, it's okay" Jessica said to me. She finally said something. I called all the girls but none of them picked up so I texted Finn.
Y/N: hey can I spend the night at your house?
Finn: of course you can. I have the car tonight since my parents and my brother went somewhere for the night so we could go out.
Y/N: that would be perfect, pick me up at 6:30?
Finn: see you soon beautiful💗

When we got home, I packed my stuff and texted Finn to pick me up. I saw Hannah about to leave so I dropped my back and gave her the biggest hug in the world. "I'm gonna miss you so much" I said as I shed a tear. "I love you Y/N" "I love you too Hannah" She picked up her luggage, got into her car, and went to the airport. I waved her goodbye as she backed out of my driveway. I don't know if she'll ever come back. Just then, Finn pulls up. "Mom I'm leaving" "Okay bye sweetie, love you" "Love you too and I love you Jessica" "I love you more Y/N"
I put my bag in the backseat of his car and hopped into the front seat. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and than we drove off. "Have you eaten yet?" He asked. "Nope, not all day" I responded. "Well as my birthday treat, I'm taking you to red lobster" I forgot it was still his birthday. I'm such a bad person. Why am I forgetting so many things? "Finn, are you sure" I asked. "More than 100 percent" he said. I connected my phone to his Bluetooth and played My Kind Of Woman by Mac Demarco. We both sang along as we drove to red lobster.
When we got to red lobster, he sat next to me and we ordered our food already. "Finn, I still don't understand why you didn't say yes to the film, why for me? "Y/N, I think it's obvious. I am in love with you and only you. There's no place I'd rather be. If I'm not with you, I wouldn't be able to smile or live my life. I need you" he says. I kissed him on the cheek and than we just talked about random things and trends on instagram. Our food came out and I was about to eat it until "WAIT, I need a picture of you" he said. "Why?" I asked as I laughed. "Because you're gorgeous, DUH" he said

For the first time in hours, I actually felt happy. I had a smile on my face. I was laughing. Finn was the only guy that could do that. And I think that why I was in love with him. I could do things for me that would be impossible for other people to do. He was always there for me. And he never wanted to lose me as much as I never wanted to either. I wouldn't be able to be happier with any other person.
