Chapter 6 The Nether

•Jetash's POV•

The Evilpigs were easy to kill. It only took about five minutes before we entered the house to find Tarni sitting in the chair near the fire. She scared stiff at something, but no one knew why. I went in front of Tarni and waved my hand in front. She didn't even blink.

Laura clicked her fingers and turned around. She did a few things then turned back around, yelling with a Herobrine mask on. Tarni seemed to notice this as she blinked. When she concentrated on Laura, she back up as far as she could, trying to stay calm.

"Hey! What are you trying to do?" Tarni lifted the mask and whacked Laura. I sighed. Ash put the fire out for the night. Tarni and Laura started bickering and Ash tried to stop them. Tomorrow, we will set out on a longer walk to the next persons house. It will be quiet a few days, unless...

"Oi! I know a quicker way to the next persons house!" I raised my hand for no particular reason. "Kay, spill it!" Laura placed her hand on her hip, her inventory coming out, which wasn't meant to happen. She freaked and tried to get rid of it. "WE CAN RIDE BOO TO OUR NEXT DESTINATION! Boo yah!" I started a little dance, Ash joining in.

Laura walked into the kitchen, probably getting some food as Tarni watches me and Ash dance. I stop and sit down next to Tarni, thinking back to her weird staring moment, before Laura disturbed it. "What was with your staring moment back there? You looked... Scared," Tarni lifted her head and looked at me.

She tried to look for the right words to say, "it... It was nothing..." She gets up and follows Laura into the kitchen. Why so touchy? Something was wrong, Tarni is normally the cheerful one, but she doesn't seem like it now.

Laura returns from the kitchen with Rainbow by her side, both had food. "What did we miss?" She mumbled as she ate. "Nothing! We just have to sleep so we can adventure!" Ash exclaims. Everyone, as soon as Tarni rejoined us with food, placed our beds back in our sleeping rooms and got ready to sleep.

I jumped into my bed that's next to Ash's. She did the same. I think back to last night, how I wanted to ask a question. What was it again? Argh, forget it. Again this night, it was hard to sleep as Boo kept sleep screeching its head off, I don't even know if it has a body...

I eventually slept, no dreams coming that night. I wonder if Tarni or anyone else got a dream?

•Lauras POV•

I woke up to a bright light coming in from the window right above my bed. I was in the kitchen, mm... Food. I hopped out of bed, crawling over to the cake chest. I opened it and took out a cake. I felt like I was in heaven! I took two pieces and ate them. I then realised there was crumbs coming from the chest, leading a trail into the lounge room.

I knew straight away what ate a cake, Tarni. I walked into the lounge room to find half a cake on the floor. Tarni was sleeping peacefully in bed, twitching.

I left her and went into Ash's room. Both of them were whispering to each other. I sat down at the door, trying to catch on to their conversation. "...nether is very hot, no one... Lava and fire, ghasts... Quartz, hardly anyone... Portal and go to the nether." Ash was saying to Jetash. They are talking about the nether. I sit up and walk in, the conversation was boring me.

"Hey! Are you guys awake?" I stand at the end of Ash's bed, tapping her feet. Ash looks up, so did Jetash. I was about to say something else when a voice came from the lounge room. "Hey, guys? When are we going?" It was Tarni.

Once everyone was awake, we all had breakfast, nothing unusual happened during the night. Herobrine must be plotting something. After a while, everyone was packed and ready to go out once more, one more person joining us. I picked up my bed and stuff I packed, stealing a few more piece of cake and other foods, before we headed out the door.
