•Rex's POV•
I sat in darkness for a long time. Had it been a day since I was here? Where are Tarni and her friends when you need them?
The sound of footsteps echoed the room and I tensed. Who was that? It can't be Herobrine as he doesn't walk a lot, mainly teleporting.
Two shadowy figures stood at the doorway to the room, one had a tail and cat ears. They both had hair. I couldn't see their faces so they could be anyone.
"Anyone here?" A voice rang out. I breathed deeply. Was this my saviour? "Help?" I said questionly. "Is that you Rex?" Another voice asked. One of the figures ran towards me. The dim light showed the first persons face, it was Tarni.
"Rex! Oh I'm so glad to see you... Tied up." She got to me and untied me. The other figure followed Tarni, it was Laura. "Well, we finally found you!" She panted.
A laugh echoed that room, but nothing happened. "What the nether was that?" Tarni hissed. I sat up from my chair. It was nice to be free.
"I don't know, but we can't stay here all day let's get moving!" Laura said nudging us both to start running. Tarni ran ahead, she's a cat sheesh, and I was after her, Laura at the back to attack if there was anything to attack.
We had almost reached the exit, when a loud rumbling sound stopped us and the ground shook a bit. "Earthquake?" Tarni questioned. Laura gasped. "No! Our exit is disappearing!"
She pointed at the exit and sure enough, iron bars had started to cover it. We all made a run for it, but it was hard enough since the ground shook. Tarni made a massive leap to the iron bars, but she wasn't fast enough.
The rumbling stopped and the iron bars had locked us in...
•Neneh's POV•
It was only me, Ash and Death, exploring a room. We couldn't find much besides the key. Argh! It makes me wonder what it is...
Ash wasn't much of a help. She was just trying to find a thing that is on her mind sometimes she says, the Muffin Vault. I ignore her, but she is definite it is in this dungeon.
Finally, I found something else, a book. I picked it up and held it to the dim light. The cover said, 'Herobrines First Lair'.
"Oi, Ash, get here!" I yelled over to her. She looked up from under a table. "What now? I haven't found the Muffin Vault... I dunno what it is but my brain won't stop saying to find it!" She replied.
I mentally face palmed. "Ash, no. I found a book!" I opened the book and Ash crawled over to me. "What does it say?" She asks. I begin to read. "It says: 'Herobrines First Lair is the place you are probably reading this book in... Herobrine has about three different lairs and you are pretty lucky to even find one...
'Some say that if you enter one lair, it is hard to escape alive... Find a key and use it to-'" I stopped there. Ash leaned in closer. "Read! Why did you stop?" She stood up and looked over at the book.
"Where are you reading-" I pushed her head out of the way. "It doesn't say anything else, the page is ripped off," I said. Ash thought for a moment. "Is it just me or does everything always seem suspenseful in my life..." She sighed.
I grabbed her hand and dragged her over to Death. "Anything to report?" I asked the dragon. It roared, but I know it didn't understand me so ignored it.
"Fair enough- now let's go into another room!" I walked down a hallway, still dragging Ash along. Death was already obeying so he didn't need to be dragged along.
Suddenly, a what seemed like a small earthquake made everyone stop. The ground shook a small bit, but it was hard enough to topple someone over. Death roared and the rumbling stopped. MAGIC!
