"What are we doing today then?" Sarah asked at the breakfast table the next morning. I had just taken a bite out of my bacon when she asked so I had to chew quickly.

"Um. I was thinking that we could go down to the beach. I mean, it is a very nice day today and it would be nice to take Phoenix." I said, gesturing to the window. The sky was bright blue and it looked amazing.

"That sounds like a good idea. Brendon, how do you feel about all of us going down to the beach today?" Sarah asked. He turned around.

"Sorry, I wasn't listening." He shrugged. I face palmed.

"Do you want to go down to the beach today? All of us." Sarah asked, with a slightly annoyed tone.

"Uh yeah. Sounds fun!" He said. I turned to Cal.

"Cal?" I asked, hoping that he was listening.

"Yeah. I think it is a great idea." He said.

"Then it is settled! We are going to the beach today!" Sarah exclaimed. I looked over at Phoenix who was starting to fuss. I picked her up out of her pram and lightly bounced her up and down. She still fussed. I covered my chest with a blanket and tried to get her to feed. No use. I sniffed to see if she needed changing. Not that. I checked to see if she had a fever or anything. One of her cheeks was flushed and her gums were sore and red.

"Bren, Phoenix doesn't look very well." I said, quite concerned. He glanced over and took her out of my hands. He looked at her.

"Yeah. She does a bit. She's dribbling a lot too." Brendon said. As he said that, she started dribbling a lot. I grabbed a cloth and wiped it away from her mouth.

"I think I know what is going on." I stated.

"What's happening?" Brendon asked worriedly.

"She's teething." I explained. I pulled a baby leaflet out of my bag. "She's showing most of the symptoms. I mean, she's gnawing on your hand right now." He looked at her and she had drooled all over his hand and had her mouth around it.

"Yeah, I think I've realised." He said. I took her off him and cleaned up the drool. She seemed pretty scared.

"I don't think it helps with the flight. We need to get her a teething ring because I've forgot them." I said.

"I saw a baby shop. We could quickly go there and then go to the beach." Sarah suggested.

"Yeah. Good idea. Get your beach attire on and we'll meet you downstairs." I said. We all nodded and parted ways. Me, Cal and Phoenix went into our room and I grabbed a waterproof beach bag. I put in 3 towels, sun cream and a book for me. I also packed a few of Phoenix's toys in case she got bored. I got changed into a baby pink polka dot bikini and put on some matching flip flops. I grabbed a white vest top and denim shorts and put them over it. I got my Raybans and put them on. I put Phoenix in a matching bikini and an adorable little dress. I put some sandals on her and picked up her stroller. I grabbed the baby bag and put that with my beach bag. Cal walked out in blue swimming trunks and a white tank top.

"You look amazing." He complimented. I kissed him on the lips and he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer. We kissed passionately. I stopped it before out became more.

"We need to go downstairs. Brendon and Sarah will have questions." I mumbled, smiling.

"Yeah. One more though." He smirked.

"Okay!" I gave in and kissed him. Our lips moved in sync with each other. I did eventually pull away before we got too carried away. I took his hand. He carried the stroller downstairs whilst I carried the bags on one arm and the other held Phoenix. Wes got to the lobby and Cal set up the Stroller. I gently placed Phoenix inside it and put the bags underneath the basket. I pushed the stroller out of the doors, Cal kindly holding the doors open for me. We all walked over to the shop where I bought a couple of teething rings for Phoenix and some bonjela (teething cream). We headed out to the beach; it was lovely weather so we took our time getting there. But there was also the problem of getting through thee paparazzi. Thankfully, there was only a couple of them so it wads pretty easy. Once are had arrived at the beach, we found a nice spot and put down all our stuff. Brendon walked over to the little shack that was on the beach and bought a gazeebo-type umbrella for shelter. I took off my shorts and best top, leaving me in my bikini. I got Phoenix out of her stroller and sat her on my lap. I handed her a teething ring, which she happily gnawed on. Brendon put the umbrella over all of us on an extended rod.

"Someone looks happy!" Brendon smiled, referring to a smiling Phoenix.

"I think it's soothing her. Wait! I have the cream." I said. I pulled the bonjela out of my bag and rubbed it on her gums. She fussed and whined but eventually went back to playing with her toy. I lay down a towel and lay on it with my sunglasses on. Phoenix was playing with Brendon and Sarah came and lay next to me.

"Phoenix is so adorable." Sarah cooed.

"Yeah. Bless her. She's ever so good." I said.

"When she stays with us, she rarely cries and is always smiling." Sarah said. A smile crept across my face.

"Yeah. She's a proper daddy's girl, isn't she?" I asked.

"Definitely. No offence to you, of course." She said.

"None taken. To be fair, I think its nice." I explained. We talked for a boot and then we sat up.

"Guys. I need to make an announcement!" Brendon said. We all turned our attention to him. He handed Phoenix to me and I put her in my lap, whilst snuggling into Cal's chest.

"What's up?" I asked. He took Sarah's hand and dragged her in front of him.

"Okay. Sarah. I love you. I love you with all my heart. Your smile brightens my day and just seeing you is an amazing feeling. I also love the way you are with Phoenix, even though she isn't yours you act like she is. I'm not a very romantic man and I have no clue what I'm saying right now, but I completely mean it. Sarah, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So," Brendon said. He got down on one knee and opened a ring box which held a beautiful diamond ring. "Sarah Elizabeth Orzechowski, will you marry me?"
