♡ Nine ♡

Beca and Amy walked in the auditorium together for the last Bella's rehearsal. Chloe had been MIA for the last 4 rehearsals. Everyone was worried sick due to the fact Chloe Beale would never, ever, skip a Bella's practice.

"Aubrey!" Amy yelled when she entered the auditorium room.

"Amy" Aubrey smiled and looked at Beca. "Midget" She frowned at Beca. Beca just smiled and Aubrey rolled her eyes. "You both are here early, what's wrong?" Aubrey asked.

"That is what we want to ask you. Where is Chloe?" Amy asked as she threw her bag down. She walked up slowly; placing her arms crossed over her chest.

Aubrey took a deep breath and glared at Beca. "Some girl named Jade-"

"What about her?" Beca snapped her head up. She quickly rushed over after the question; joining the trio's conversation.

"What does it matter to you?" Aubrey asked.

"I was just wondering" Beca mumbled. Both blondes looked at Beca weird. Aubrey then went to tell, but the doors flew open. Amy turned and ran over.

"Chloe!!" She yelled and tackled the girl in one of her hugs. As that happened, Aubrey gripped Beca's sleeve.

"Listen, if you know who Jade is you better tell me now" Aubrey whispered.

"She's an old friend" Beca said quickly.

"LET ALL THE NEGATIVE ENERGY FLY OUT!" Amy yelled causing Chloe to laugh.

"You better take care of her" Aubrey said and pushed Beca away.

"What do you-"

"Beca" Chloe smiled softly. Beca just returned it was a glare. Chloe hadn't answered Beca's texts or even calls. She even noticed Chloe would never request a song anymore. Beca was pissed about it; obviously. After talking to Chloe about something personal to be ditched like that really hurt her.

"Chloe!" Screams were heard from the other girls that arrived. Everyone tackled her in a hug and Beca just walked off to start stretches.

"What's your issue?" Amy asked Beca noticing the girls change in attitude. Beca just shrugged and threw her left arm across her chest; pulling at it with her right hand.

"Alright! Ladies!" Aubrey yelled to get everyone's attention. "We have two more rehearsals before Regionals. Chloe has obviously been MIA, so we are gonna have an extra hour long practice today then usual so we can make sure we all know what we're doing" Aubrey said and the girls groaned, but knew not to argue.

"I can't stay an hour longer Aubrey" Beca spoke up; that's when the room fell to a drop dead silence.

"Well you have to" Aubrey laughed a bit uncomfortable and stressed.

"I can't" Beca said and crossed her arms. Her stance leaned to her right.

"What's the excuse?" Aubrey asked and crossed her arms.

"Personal matter" Beca said. To be honest, she was going to see Jade. She didn't want to, but the girl wanted to know what was going on.

"Fine" Aubrey said and looked away; pissed off.

Practice went on and Beca avoided Chloe has much as she could. Chloe hated it, she wasn't sure what was wrong. She just knew Beca was ignoring her at all costs.

"Alright! I'm out!" Beca announced during their third break. Aubrey rolled her eyes as Beca packed up.

"I have to go too, Aub'" Chloe said to the blonde.
