♡ Thirty-Seven ♡

Beca sat there with her forehead pressed against Chloe's. Both of their faces were redder then Chloe's hair. Their breathing was a bit heavy as they felt the thick silence around them from the other girls.

"Chloe" Beca whispered under her breath.

"Yeah?" Chloe asked under her own breath.

"I just-"

"You did" Chloe couldn't help but let a smile form on her lips.

Beca pulled away and kept her head low. Her face felt as if someone lit it on fire. How did she just do that? Hell, why did she just do that? Now everyone would know Beca was gay. Everyone would probably would resent them both for it.

"Jesus fucking Christ, took you two long enough" Lily spoke out loud causing everyone to quickly look over at the usually quiet woman.

"I know it's great news, but you don't need to shout" Stacie said causing all of them to laugh.

"So, when did this start?" Amy asked.

"Uh, the other day I think? When we had to camp-"

"Ha! Told you, pay up" Amy pointed at Ashley.

"Dammit!" Ashley cursed.

All of the sudden all the girls were pulling out wallets; exchanging money to one another. Some would mumble a curse word as they handed money to the other who would mumble a "yes!" Or "knew it"

"What is going on?" Beca asked Chloe. "Like you're seeing this right?"

"Yep" Chloe nodded. "They took bets on us" Chloe added.

"I bet we can sneak out right now and they wouldn't noti-"

"I'm hungry, babe" Chloe sighed.

"You can eat me" Beca smirked.

"Beca!" Chloe gasped at the volume level she said it at.

"It's not like they are hearing us, they are too busy with exchanging money!" Beca defended her comment.

"I heard it" Lily said.

"Stop yelling" Both girls said in unison.

"Hey! Stop exchanging money!" Aubrey ran up.

"Where did you go?" Amy asked.

"I got a call and our bus is fixed! We can leave after breakfast!" Aubrey announced and all the girls started cheering or sighing in relief.

"Oh thank god" Beca muttered under her breath. "I am so ready to go-"

Beca cut herself off in the middle of her sentence. She wasn't ready to go back. Beca realized that she couldn't go back because Chloe lived building away on the campus. She lived in a different dorm building then Beca. Not to mention the Bella's season was over so no practices to see her at.

"Why did you stop?" Chloe asked.

"Uh-"

"Food is here!" Ashley grinned.

"Nothing" Beca said as she watched the plates be sat down one by one.

Chloe could tell something shifted in Beca. Her mood went from relief to stress in an instant. The woman started to wonder what made her change so quickly.

The waiter walked away and everyone dived into their breakfast. Beca was eating slowly. More she was just stabbing at her food with her fork. Chloe wanted to eat like a mad woman because she was starving, but she was worrying about Chloe.
