Oh Father,
How dearly your child loves you,
Even though you have given him no reason to.
Oh Father,
Do you know how much he looked up to you even though he knew nothing of you.
Oh Father,
You know nothing of the pain you gave him when he had no male role model to look up to.
Oh Father,
You know nothing of the fucking guilt you inflicted on him when he convinced himself that you left because he wasn't enough, but he was only a tiny baby.
Oh Father,
You know nothing of the fucking permanent emotional damage you have done to him or his new little sister when she had to find him trying to end his life because on top of you abandoning him, he feels his Mother has too.
Oh Father,
You have more children now and a new family, oh how quick you were to forget about him.
Oh Father,
After all these fucking years of wondering why you left or if you'd ever come back, when he finally got over the pain that was your absence,
You decide to try to manoeuvre your way back in; act as if you never left.
But oh dearest father,
You have no place in his life or heart anymore.
And you don't have the privilege to have the title as his Father.
